Round 2 Game 2| Cavaliers vs Celtics| Mon. May 3rd, 2010| 8pm (et)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm a huge Cavs fan but for me to just get all upset becasue they sucked tonight would be a waste of energy. We all have things we are emotionally invested in and everyone on this site is invested in our Cavaliers. There really is no need to bash our team when we lose a game. Sure we lost by a lot but we played like shit. The series is not over, some people are acting like our season is over. Sports should be a an outlet to problems, not a reason to have more problems in our lifes.

I agree..people are just stressed because they know if the Cavs suffer some epic collapse, LeBron is gone and Cleveland sports enters one of its worst eras ever.

Cavs lost 6 games in the regular season at The Q, by a combined 21 points. Today, they lost by 18.

honestly if LBJ doesn't pick it up and we lose to Boston with a more than sufficient supporting cast then I wonder how much people really will care....7 years off the same old shit....bout time for LBJ to get this town a title and chill out with the LeDrama shit...it is gettin old....toughen up and be a fucking leader and a champion.....period....good night see ya all on friday!

all these interviews and speeches on how they are focused and blah blah

this game shows that they think it will be handed to him. Its gonna take Mike Brown to yell at these guys during a timeout for them to actually play

OT: "You think Dwight Howard fouls out of practice?"

Charles said that on inside after Cheryl's interview with Howard.

:chuckles:

I know this comment is wayy late.. lol

but did anyone else get no joy whatsoever out of our "comeback" when we brought the lead from 25 back to 10...

I felt that they let us back in rather than us putting any effort.

I usually keep cheering for the cavs even when we are down big, and then when I cant do that anymore I turn the game off. But tonight I kept the game on and just stared in disbelief. How could we play this poorly for the WHOLE game...

If anything, it just pissed me off. It pissed me off on Easter, and it pissed me off tonight.

If they had won, great. But it also would have given this team a false sense of confidence. You can't keep digging yourself a hole, expecting to get out.

Hopefully, the fact that they got destroyed tonight will make them realize this. If not.... then they don't deserve to win anyway.

And if I may add this:

Who hear thought that, just three years after going to the finals, the Cavs would become the new Pistons? Not the back-to-back finals appearances Pistons, but the "we don't really give a crap, but we will play one good game a series and try to win that way" Pistons.

Really, really frustrating.

Even though it was fresh out of the packing crate, LeBron James' "team" Most Valuable Player trophy already had some tarnish on the night it was presented.

Maybe they need to do the MVP award after the season is totally finished...people seemed unfocused..not good..

It is hard to even know where to begin with the game because the Celtics' showing was impressive in nearly every category while the Cavs lacked fire, execution and poise across the board.

Uh..everyone and their mama knew the Celtics were going to come hard at the Cavs..except the Cavs it seems...no excuse for this putrid pathic type of play..I can deal with a loss..but when you show effort not laying down and imploding like that..when Lebron isn't playing well someone needs to step up...Mo seems content to have had one quarter of good play and shut it down..AV,don't know whats up ..heard he had back spasms..did the whole team including MB have spasms??

LeBron needs to get a cortisone shot in his elbow if it is causing him this much pain... not doing so is very selfish. What kind of 6'9 265lb man is afraid of a needle?

Am I the only one that thought he was kidding about the whole afraid of needles thing? I didn't see the actual interview so I don't know. He has a ton of tattoos so they can't really be that big of a deal to him. Maybe he just doesn't want to get started on those shots. A lot of athletes are leary of them since they do have quite a few side effects.

Look this is my first post on this site and i love reading Cavs Fans views to see if im the only so devasted by this loss and ill tell you why.

im from Australia, and the team i support down here in our national sport finished with the best record in the league at the end of the season and like this curse with all the teams i support (Arsenal, Colts) they get the shivers come crunch time and post season. We lost our first game of the finals at home and had to play away the following week players did not at all seemed phased then we lost ! in devasting fashion ! we havnt won a championship in 30 years !

i'll tell you how this relates, Think back to last year ! Magic it was 1 - 1 after first two, we narrowly escaped with victory because of a buzzer-beater and before you know it were down 3 - 1 in the series in severe panic mode ! this year we were reliant on a mo williams dunk to shift momentum. To me when your reliant on a impact play to shift momentum your really not better than the team your facing !

I do want to be a pessimist but im paranoid ! i dont know if Cavs play through adversity they like when things are rolling there way and there dictating all aspects of a game, where really going to find out alot about the character of this team in the coming games !

but hey 'mama said there'd be days like this'

LETS GO CAVS !
