Round 2 Game 5 | Bulls (2-2) @ Cavs (2-2) | May 12, 2015 | 7:00 PM ET on TNT

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It was reported by Chicago press after yesterday's game that Gibson was okay and would play Tuesday.

Jury is still out on Gasol (who did not practice on Monday).

I kinda hope he plays, a hamstring injury really limits your mobility. Doubt he's a serious factor even if he goes. His defense is atrocious too. The Bulls are harder to score on without him.

the problem would be for the cavs, the same thing for the bulls with kyrie. you still have to guard him, and he still provides minutes. at the end of the day no gasol is way better for the cavs than a 40% gasol

I really don't think they're that much worse without him. Noah playing center is a lot more active, and a hell of a lot better defensively. He's more of an attacker defensively, even if his offense sucks, but defensively the Bulls are clearly better, and back to what they were last season.

Gibson is really good, he's not Pau, but provides enough offense, while still being effective defensively.

Pau is atrocious defensively, and the lane opens up a lot more for LeBron on pick and rolls with him on the floor. Not at all worried about him playing. Besides, the switch with Tristan on him has worked really well.

I was wrong, Blatt was right, this lineup worked. Tristan can guard Gasol, he's quick enough to stay out on him unlike Mozgov.

The Mozgov and Thompson frontline really kicked the shit out of Noah and Gasol. Mozgov and Thompson frontline against Noah and Gibson is even money.

I hope Pau plays.

Gotta win tomorrow. Can't let the Bulls take us out again at home.

I'm guessing we don't go 5-25 from 3 point land at home and the Bulls don't go 9-21 from 3.

Honestly, I don't even care about LeBron's efficiency that much, it's the turnovers that are killing me. He's carrying a huge load right now being the leading scorer, rebounder, assist maker, and theft. Yes, he's leading the team in points, rbs, ast, and steals.

If he can cut down the turnovers, they will win. He also needs to take LESS jumpers, IMO. His teammates are shooting jumpers much more efficiently, and LeBron has no issues finding the open man.

Play team ball. Find open guys. Continued good defense. Win.

Not sure I feel good about this game, although I haven't felt good about any game. This has been a pretty ugly series. I am hoping Lebron finds his shot, because if he does, the Cavs will win.

really hoping that game winner from lebron flows through to this game and gives him confidence/rhythm. a game of 30/8/8 and 48% FG isn't too much to ask for.. :chuckle:

I have a question. You are going to play a gimpy Kyrie as a decoy for 30 minutes a game but Mike Miller and Shawn Marion can't get any run. Even Delly has gotten his shot to fall some! Those guys are proven vets and have to have some skill left or you could've found rookies to sit the bench. Why not find 5 to 7 minutes for them?

I would like to see JR start. We really could benefit from his offense early. I'm starting to wonder if his benching is more of a message being sent from Blatt in response to the Crowder punch.

Either way, JR seems to be playing the X-factor role. I want to see him score 20+ tonight.

Bulls will be up by 8 or so early then we will blow them out and the game will be over midway through the 3rd.

Must have this one tonight. I hope Shump has gotten some treatment. I have more hope that he gets healthy than Kyrie. I kind of wish we had Ray Allen right now.
