The Chubb-Hub Yardage Delivery Service

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Peyton Barber is the 2nd greatest Peyton to come out of a southern college, number one is of course.

And yet that Peyton is the 2nd best RB in Arkansas history... to the greatest NFL player named after Mom.

How can you talk about best Georgia running back without mentioning #CrowHoes

*Chubb has the most rushing yards by a Browns player since Peyton Hillis in 2010

*Only 9 different Browns players have ever had more rushing yards in a season than Chubb's 972 this season

*Chubb is 1 of only 8 Browns players have ever rushed for 970+ yards with 8+ TD in a single season

He won't make the Madden cover, so does it even really matter? :chuckle:

I think in the Barkley and Lindsay hype it is lost how good Chubb has been.

He literally didn't start 6 games where he only got 2 or 3 touches. In those 6 games he had 16 rushes, so basically one game of rushes, so its like he missed 5 games and he is only 50 yards behind Lindsay and 200 yards behind Barkley.

I liked the Chubb pick allot, but no way did i expect him to be this good, he was like my 4th or 5th favorite back. He is proving to be the 2nd best back in the draft, and maybe the 2nd best back drafted since Zeke.

Not bad since the 2 backs better than him were 4th overall and 2nd overall, throw in Gurley who was 10th overall, and those are the only 3 backs I see as better than Chubb right now.

Its crazy how good Chubb has been. (Kamara and McCaffery are different backs, more in the Duke mold, thus why I don't have them ranked ahead of Chubb)

Chubb has literally been the best rookie runningback in every running stat when you adjust for offensive line and touches. He's somewhat worse in blocking and pass catching than Barkley, but not enough to makeup for how much better of a runner Chubb is.

In the 7 games that Freddie has controlled the offense, Nick Chubb has gained 654 yards on 131 carries.

That's 93.4 yards per game on 18.7 carries/game at a 5.0 yards per carry clip.

At that pace, that's roughly a 1500 yard rushing season projected for a full 16 games.

Next year, Chubb is going to explode. In more ways than one.

McCaffery is so fucking good he might even be the best RB in the league. He’s at least in the conversation with Gurley, Barkley, Bell, Zeke.

Ludicrous. He’s a much better player than Chubb. Chubb is a good player but he’s not there yet.

I just have a hard time comparing McCaffery to Chubb as what they do is completely different. McCaffery compares as a much better version of Duke, just a different style in the mold of Eric Metcalf. (or for Terry Metcalf if you want to get really old school)

For anyone that has had or currently has a PFF premium account: how much do they break down their player scores? Like can you compare each metric of Henry vs. Zeke ? Henry ranks 2nd and Zeke ranks 29th. What gives here?

Just very curious what metrics are elevating Derrick Henry to their #2 overall RB. I have to believe yards after contact must be huge for their scores based off Chubb and Henry being 1 and 2

McCaffery and Chubb play totally different positions. Their teams use them in entirely different roles. McCaffery cannot do what Chubb does and vice-versa. As you said, it’s just not wise to compare the two. It would be like comparing Kyrie and Steve Nash. They play the same nominal position but do totally different things.

Comparing anyone to Chubb is ridiculous because he has transcended to a higher plane of existence
