I loved Droughns. The Hillis season was super fun. Crow for an undrafted back can’t really ask for much more. Didn’t Harrison have 2 200 yard games back to back or in a short span?

Chubb should pile up loads of stats to crack Moflo’s lists in the other threads. I’m a stataholic so I’m looking forward to seeing him climb the ranks. Definitely the best RB I’ve seen for the Browns. And it’s really not close.

I have a soft spot for the season with Jamal Lewis. But yeah, I was born in 1992 and have never seen someone in a Browns jersey that is as good as Chubb.

Honestly if this keeps up, only people who saw Jim Brown play saw a RB for the Browns as good as Chubb. Mack, Byner, Pruits, etc... all were good, but Chubb might be better than all.

Tommy Vardell, 9th overall pick, the great white hope. He amassed 1k yards for the Browns in 4 full seasons for a whopping 250 yards a season during his career1 then got cut, played for SF and Detroit in 4 more season where he averaged around 100 yards a season.

What Touchdown Tommy lacked in speed he made up for in a lack of moves.

That will be a hard legacy for Chubb to live up to. Although I will say in 1.25 vs 8 years they have about the same rushing yards right now, lol. But TD Tommy like his name does have a whopping 21 TD's in his 8 year career, something that might take Chubb a full 2 years to come close to matching as he needs 7 more to match.

there are several Tommy Vardell highlight films on youtube that appear to have been made by, you guessed it, a Vardell family member.

They’re all from like 3-4 of the same games and they’re blocks and 10-40 yard non- scoring runs from away games.

Hardesty was a good runner, blew his knee out though and that was that.

Terrance West fooled me. What a total shit head.

I remember being pumped for Travis Prentice. Ugh...

I remember drafting him and being excited like the white Kevin Mack. But nope, that was never to happen. He was just the first great white hope before Jamel White took over the title for the Browns in 2000, lol.

Back on a serious note, probably the most exciting player ever to play for the Browns played RB part time and that was Eric Metcalf. That guy was lightning in a bottle where returning kicks, playing slot or playing RB. He played in the late 80's early 90's, but would be even more electric today with the modern Offenses.

Lets all bust out our old school Metcalf jerseys for tonight's game, lol.
