The Chubb-Hub Yardage Delivery Service

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Lawrence Vickers was my guy.

Ah yes, Chubb has 2 rushes that are more yards in one single rush than Vickers has totaled in 5 years with the Browns. In 76 games Vickers got 87 total yards for an incredible 1.1 yards per a game.

This is right behind the rushing total of Josh Gordon of 88 yards, who not only could never get on the field because of suspensions, didn't play running back, lol.

1.1 yards and a cloud of dust. Dude was a great blocker, though. Probably one of the better guys at a position that was rightfully dying (and is now dead).

And with that game Chubb vaults into the lead in the AFC in rushing yards at 919 on the year

over 100 per game

also a fun note because CoUlD YoU ImAgInE If ThE BrOwNs ToOk BaRkLeY

Barkley had 1 rushing yard on 13 carries today and got banged up once again. Chubb>>>>

Chubb is bar none the best back in the NFL right now.

Best back in the NFL, two Pro-Bowl WRs, another great back in Hunt now... For that offense to have only scored 20 points or more thrice belies a criminal misuse of personnel.

I absolutely love Chubb. Chubb and Cook are my two favorites right now.

Could Chubb get close to 2000 yards rushing?

Right now we have zero pro bowl WRs

Hard disagree. He's solidly third behind McCaffery and Dalvin Cook because both are considerably better than him at the other half of being a running back.

He’s on pace for 1,929 total yards, which would be good for second all time for the Browns in a season behind only Jim Brown who put up 2,131 in 1963

will definitely be something to watch going forward and I agree, Chubb is probably my favorite Brown right now. Him or Myles

Big disagree.

Cook maybe.

McCaffrey benefits a great deal from the Panthers scheme. They play up his speed, agility and pass-catching ability.

But, if Chubb and McCaffrey switched places, I have no doubt that Chubb would being putting up even bigger numbers.

McCaffrey would have maybe 75% of Chubb's numbers, with a high percentage of his runs stuffed because he is not a straight-up strong runner like Chubb or Cook.

Should also be noted that he did this against some truly great defenses. What he did to the Pats, despite the fumbles, was truly great.

By comparison, the best defense he will face the rest of the way is Pittsburgh and they are terrible at defending the run.

To be clear, thats yards from scrimmage, not rushing yards, Jim Brown had 1863 rushing yards that year......in 14 games though.

That Brown guy was pretty good from what i can see.

I mean there’s a reason Jim Brown is regarded as the best running back of all time, but the game was very, very different when Brown played.

You can’t really compare stats from the ‘60s to today. The fact that Chubb is even in the same ballpark as Brown in light of that is an unbelievable accomplishment.

McCaffery is by far and away the best RB in the NFL and it’s not close.

He’s also strong as fuck, and why is it his problem that the Panthers scheme for one of his best players? I just don’t at all understand this take one bit.

I strongly disagree with that McCaffrey is the best running-back.

Scheming is fine, but it helps disguise the fact that he isn't a power runner. Chris isn't a great north-south runner. Chubb is far superior at banging through holes and shedding tacklers.

Chubb had only 58 fewer YAC than McCaffrey despite only starting in 11 games in 2018. Adjusted for a 16-game starting season, Chubb would have ranked only behind Barkley in YAC. McCaffrey also only ranked 11th in tackle-breaking.

If they switched teams, do you believe McCaffrey would be putting up Chubb's numbers?
