Round 3, Game 1 | Cavs @ Atlanta | May 20th, 2015 | 8:30pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Hawks are favored by 1 for game 1.

LeBron is 2-5 in game 1's as an underdog.

Yeah I'd say Carroll and Antic may lead the way for most hated players this series. Schroeder has a shot. Korver does too if he all the sudden goes video game mode from 3.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the line move closer to a pick em. Most of the money is on the Cavs right now.

When Miami was awarded an NBA franchise to begin play in 1988, team officials wanted to have the fans in South Florida involved in the naming, so a contest was held.
Among more than 5,000 entries submitted were Sharks, Barracudas, Flamingos, Palm Trees, Beaches, Heat, Suntan, Shade, Tornadoes and Floridians.

The Miami Flamingos sounds about right.

Miami Palm Trees
Miami Beaches
Miami Floridians

Some damn good entries there, Miami.

If we win Game 1 (at Philips), I will be super optimistic about our chances of taking this series. Lose it and I won't be too upset because all we would have to do is win Game 2 to gain the upper hand in the series.

With the way the Hawks play I fully expect them to lose game 1 at home.

Pretty sad that they haven't been to the ECF since the 70's (iirc) and the can't even sell out the place.
Actually this is their first conference finals ever, which makes it even worse that they can't fill the stadium.

With this team we need to play lockdown defense on the perimeter, & try to close off the driving lanes the best we can (I think we will see a lot of Delly fouling guards passing right by him). Offensively, we have 4 three point shooters ( JR, Shump, Jones, Delly ), one of which will be hot at any given time. Lebron and Kyrie play their game inside and out, but find the blazing shooters and keep feeding them. This seems like the best way to utilize this team right now without K-love in the picture. Mozgov has essentially became a big body to play and nothing more, if we get anything out of him at this point I'm happy.

It's because they had nosebleeds listed at $170 for the worst seats in the building and were trying to make as much money as possible.

They've now just dropped them so the few that are left will sell out very quickly.
