Round 3, Game 3| Cavs @ Magic| Sun, May 24th @ 8:30 pm [et]

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If you're blaming LeBron, you are seriously an idiot...

I'm just mad, he probably carried us this whole game, but his jump shooting hurt us, and so did he late FT shooting. I'm just disappointed thats all, if anything Mo/Z/Delonte lost us the game, I just feel bad for LeBron because he has NO help at all.

It would be real nice to have a Pietrus type player on this squad. Pavs reminded me why I hate him so much tonight.

The way Pietrus was bodying LeBron, he'd have fouled out in 5 minutes if he was doing that to Turk.

he got 40 but it he shot 11 - 28 and made only a couple of jumpers

If Kobe got 40 with those numbers he would have been crucified by now

he had and off night and still scored 40, chill out guys.... magic got some home cooking, you'll be alright.

I think I have seen enough now.

The look on MB's face is one of "I've run out of ideas". He is playing a chess game with one King and 4 pawns.

The realization is all over the players. They cannot keep up with a more balanced Magic team.

A sad ending to a season of hope. They beat us tonight at our own game.

Moo

Poor shooting is what is killing us. If just a few of those shots went in it would have slowed some of the easy looks the other way in the second quarter and made it a close game.

They played good D. They shot poorly. Poor shot choice-poor execution.

40 points on 28 shots is not bad at all. He got to the FT line, and since most of his FTs were on layup attempts, that's gonna hurt his percentage quite a bit.

No one here seriously believed Sasha was anything more than a one game stop gap prayer?

A huge issue is that Gibson is basically no longer on this team. He was a major scoring contributor in the past, and now he is out.

Again, the smelly Pavlovic rises from the dead to get major minutes. His 48th chance in 4 years. He is like Rasputin. He cannot die.

Without Boobie, our bench is a bunch of old set shooters and non shooters.

Don't get me started about Mr 7 foot 3 Teflon man. This guy is not a playoff performer and not a championship player. He lacks the fortitude to carry us in short stretches. He has let us down again with sub par defense, shooting and FT shooting.

MB is right. With our team...it is checkmate Orlando. We have nothing to hold them off.

Orlando in 6.

Whatever. I have lost faith for this season.

These refs suck and im not saying that as an excuse to the lose but when the refs are calling such ticky tack fouls on both teams, not just us, it really pisses me off. Everytime a player gets bumped or is pushed just a little bit a freaking foul is called and it's so retarded to see. They need to just let the games play out and call actual fouls.

Other than that we are stinking it up and we should be due an actual Cavaliers Basketball very soon. I hate seeing Mo bring the ball up pass it to Delonte and then Lebron gets the ball at the top of the court and everyone tries to get open for 3 point shots. I want to see Mo getting picks and utilizing his great mid range shot and i want to see Z start to hit his mid range shot and IMO if those 2 things happen we should have no problems winning games. We are just playing out of character and im not liking it.

It's not talent. Don't be fooled. Orlando is really the one team in the league who is the anti-cavs. Mike Brown's defense just doesn't work against them. It's a great defense, and great team. But Orlando just matches up really well against Cleveland. Sure, they had a bit of home cooking from the refs. But that wasn't a significant part of the game. Orlando is a tough match up for the Cavs no matter what. When they're allowed some leeway on their (possibly moving) screens and on defense, Cleveland can't touch them. Series isn't over yet, but it's going to take some great games from some of the Cavs players not named LeBron.

Exactly. Nice rational post. I feared this team and this series for a long long time. I've watched every Orlando and Cavs game all season long, and many know why that is.

But. you really can't put a team together any more ideally to attack the Cavaliers then the way their team is comprised any better than what this Orlando team is.

We are a better team overall agaist the entire league, but against this team, or maybe even the Houston Rockets when healthy...this team just has major matchup issues that we have no solid answers tovon our roster.

Now, given all that ...we could win this series if we had Mo, Z, and Delonte being assertive offensivley like they were all season long, until the playoffs ...and playing the type defense they exhibited for the better part of the regular season...but, they aren't, and haven't all playoff long, really.

This is Mo's first reall taste of what the playoffs is all about. I can understand that he may be amped a little too tight and he'll benefit from this first exposure from this point on in his career.

But, Z shows aginst teams like Houston, Orlando, and any team with strong bigs that he's got the lethal combo of slow and weak.

I'll say it... the referees have been brutally bad. It's sad that thev league has to be blemished every playoff season by the ineptness of the officiating.

But, this isn't new and it's not just a conspiracy against Cleveland. They are bad EVERYWHERE. All I can say is what Jim Chones told me over and over ...you gotta tell Andy and others on the team to keep playing and shut up, and play the game.

Orlando is too tough a team to get into feeling like you have to take on two opponents.

Andy has been extrmely disspointing this season with his inability to play through the calls and just stop the non stop whining and complaining and just start playing basketball. He's getting completely outplayed everywhere on the court this series, and has been the biggest downside player on our team this series.
