Numbers aren't honestly good... maybe organizational depth piece?

Heading to end of round 3 and haven't seen a Guardian selected ... teams must have lost our protected list thinking it was bogus not from the "Indians":chuckle: ... only 7 selections in Round 3 ... so almost done.

Looks like it is done ... if that (Clemmer) is all we lost, I am surprised for a "deep" system. Got 2 pitchers for 1 ain't bad even if one is injured. It's a lotto pick to see if something sticks with new instructions.

Still worried about the main draft with Cantillo but who is going to draft a pitcher injured last year and not much experience in AA ... trying to throw him to the wolves in the majors (other than if they think he is a loogie).

Clemmer started the year out with a quite well and got worse as the season went on, wonder if he got hurt. Didn't demonstrate any noticeable improvement in the "stats" you'd like to see. This is all looking at stats/game logs and no actual observation.

Wish him luck,.

Thank you @petes999 for the updates.

Is anything he does worth noting?

He does a lot well.

His last season post Covid was tough, prior to that he was trending towards being close to MLB ready by 22/23. But he is exactly the kind of guy liked in Cleveland. K's a lot guys, throws 5 pitches, comfortable throwing all 5 in any count, simple mechanically. See some traits and tweaks the system is effective at improving that will clean up a good bit of his command inconsistencies which have plagued him as a pro.

Both of these guys are heavy effective tunnellers, but both have arm actions that need cleaned up a bit.

Loss of Clemmer you think matters at all? Depth wise we can easily replace him on paper it feels like...
