Was thinking today.. Not sure it's normally even the casts fault so much as the writing when snl is flat.

Current cast is almost all formidable

The ultimate result of long-running eugenics experiments devised by Arthur Frayn – who is Zardoz – who controlled the outlands with the Exterminators, thus coercing the Brutals to supply the Vortices with grain.

Darrell Hammond is such an enigma. He was a standout part of a killer cast, but he just remained there while everyone around him rocketed to superstardom.

He's the ultimate glue guy. Fantastic with the right cast, but never really able to run his own show. I wonder how much was his own choice rather than lack of interest.
