Series #30 Twins @ Indians July 12-14

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Much needed win. Only lost a game in the standings.

Definitely need to pick up another arm and another bat, but I guess we'll see how Otero and Salazar come back from their respective rehab stints.

Their best move might be getting Kluber back. If we can get him back, right, the way Bieber is pitching. This is exciting.

It was awesome seeing him playing catch with Cookie. That's a really great sign for both. Hope we get them both back. Obviously really hoping more importantly Cookie just doing find health wise.

Was at the game today, was a blast.

Those two hit batter replays looked like total horseshit to me. Especially the first one. Crowd was pissed.
They were the worst reviews I've ever witnessed. Both were clear as day not hbp. They refuse to overturn the first one, then overturn the second.

This Arraez is looking very Altuve-like with how he keeps whacking baseballs around. He can be annoying for years to come.

They ran out of ketchup before the game started in the upper deck

Tough time for ketchup manufacturers, with the tariffs potentially crushing their business and all.

Sorry you had to feel that pain, but...

Hmm has me thinking... if Girardi would’ve challenged that Lonnie actually got HBP in 2017. Umps may have been blind to that and it would’ve all worked out for us

Didn't see the game but watched the first replay above. It looked to me like the ball obviously hit the bat but may also have nicked his batting glove. Question - if it hits both simultaneously what's the correct call?

ETA - Second one is the same (to my eye). Obviously hit the bat but you can see the batting glove move, too. Those were virtually identical plays, I imagine we will hear something about the rule today or tomorrow.

The second one, I could see getting a piece of the finger since his hand was over the knob, but the first one he was choked up a little. Only way it could even get a piece of him was by the ball compressing on the knob first.

Will MLB release a statement about them? It seems pretty obvious they got it wrong. Would love an explanation to what they say

Hamilton on the radio said something to the effect of: “don’t count on any kind of explanation on that. The replay officials are in some sort of witness protection program.” He was heated, to put it lightly.

Also, I may be mistaken, but I was under the belief that a manager isn’t even allowed to talk about the replay officials call. If they say anything about it, it’s an instant ejection. Is that correct? Those calling for Tito to argue the call would still have got the visual of him getting ejected, but it would have been completely useless since you are arguing with someone who didn’t review the play.
