Really nice back-to-back at bats from Jose and Kip. Jose's looked like a homer off the bat, then Kip smacked one oppo to the wall for a double.

When Kip is smacking doubles to the Left-Center gap, it's one of the most enjoyable swings in baseball to me.

We definitely need him to bounce back, but he's always been prone to the occasional dud.

He was great in his second start (and his stuff was actually there in start 1), so hopefully he can get back to that.

You do have to find it funny though that the Royals are on a 12 (about to be 13 game) losing streak outside of the Indians series. Some teams just have your number for no reason whatsoever.
