Important to note that in his "bad game" he was defended by Darvin Ham... a former lock-down defender for the Pistons and Bucks.

Note the word "former". Rmember how dominant the chain-smoking Jeff Manto was for the AAA Bisons in the early 90's for the Tribe, but how below average he was in the major leagues. I plan on calling Shannon "Manto" for the rest of the year. I hope he gives us a few nice games, but I would rather see him become a trading chip by the deadline.

Whats it gonna take for you guys to realize that this guy could be a key part of our future. He just dropped 37 points 5 reb 3 ast 1 steal. That shows me that we have the next gilbert arenas on our team right now. Bron and boobie love the kid and he still has alot to learn. I think we really should think about it before we ship him off in a trade that prolly wont make us better for the long term. Would rather have gilbert arenas type guy on the team in two years or a 31 year old point guard who cant shoot anymore. Ferry has got alot young guys on the team that could be great, soon. Boobie, shannon, av, simmons they have very high potential to be elites. When Larry Hughes and his awful contract are over with and z retires and gooden is gone, shannon should be ready to come in and start at shooting guard. I promise you that he will be no worse than larry hughes is now. Think about the future a lil bit before we trade shannon for shit.

This is the D-League....it is a ginormous step down from the big show. Shannon having 1 great game out of 4 doesn't tell me much other than he has potential. Next Gil Arenas? Arenas would score 100 without even trying in a D-League game. Shannon was 4-20 in his 1st game in the D-league....he had 8 turnovers in his 2nd game. What does that say?
I'm happy he did well last night, but you are going wayyyy overboard on last night's performace.

The leading scorer(25-30ppg) of the D-league was called up to the NBA earlier this season and then got cut...can't remember who it was...maybe Jeremy Richardson.
