How many kids' knowledge of the world is based around a trip to the baseball Hall of Fame?In 20 years, kids won’t even know who those men are. That, is the point of not putting them in. Much like the removal of all the monuments and statues, remove all negative history. Despite their importance in telling the story of the game.
Not many.
In fact, Rose being out of the hall probably keeps his name more in the public consciousness.
I think these guys should be in, because it makes the story that the Hall can tell that much better. I don't think their inclusion or not will affect whether or not kids know of them, except for the handful of kids who will actually go online and read the list of players in the Hall of Fame.
