So Long, David Nwaba

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Even though Zion is the more flashy guy, i think Barret is the real deal. Im ok with Zion too.

If you add Ewe Blab's outside jumper to younger Sidney Moncrief's hustle, that's Nwaba. I really don't want think it's a coincidence that the Cavs have become competitive now that Nwaba is on the floor. They needed Sexton to become an Alpha on offense and they needed Nwaba's infectious energy.

BTW - I had heard Ewe Blab had the flexibility of a Soviet Gymnist. Couldn't play basketball but that's besides the point.
Nwaba out vs twolves. Sore knee

Shoots a 3 ....... CLUNK!

Dude just can't shoot. Don't know how playable he is without a halfway passable shot.

Like Delly, he gets minutes for his impact on others on the floor with him. The caveat here is that Delly is a legit rotation player while Nwaba is ten to fifteen minutes of energy.

Nwaba is strong as a brick shithouse. He effectively muscled Thad Young, who is a pretty strong dude in his own right. I think his 3 point shot is a work in progress. Some nights he has it, some nights he doesn't. Like Cedi, Nwaba needs to get to a point where he is more consistent and repeatable with his outside shot.

I didn't get to watch as closely as I wanted to. Was he matched up on young all night or did he play a part in shooting down Oladipo?

It seemed like the defense was much better tonight.

Many Thad Young should have come orour w in the Love trade. He is a Cavs killer bonafide stud. Quietly one of the best defenders in the East.

Pacers remind me if the 2007-8 Cavs. Not great scoring team, but one that tries to outwork you and defends like hell every night

Nwaba was matched up with mostly Thad except for some switches and zones. Dipo just seemed to have an off night shooting and he didn't attack the rim the way he usually does. Lots of decent team defense by the Cavs tonight and we were stronger than normal in the paint.
