So Long, David Nwaba

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Uhoh. Might need to change avatars.

Nwaba fell awkwardly in the fourth quarter, and was down for several moments with an apparent left leg injury. He was helped to the locker room by his teammates and was unable to put much weight on his leg.

Sprain on the same left ankle as during the Toronto game.

How many minutes will Blossgame play?

Getting down to bare bones here.

Seems like Nwaba has been gone forever but I see it's been less than a month. Any word on him? Will he be here next year?

He was shooting pre-game in Portland before any other players were on the floor and testing the ankle. He wasn’t doing too much cutting but his shot was way off. Not sure when he started on floor activity but he also did not look in pain.

He wasn't back for more than a couple of games before he went out again. Tough year for him to be hurt. He would have been getting minutes and perhaps raising his value and contract. Hope to get a really good look at him after the deadline.

How could you tell the difference?

One of the most underrated players in the league. He is a restricted free agent so we better bring him back on a multi year deal. He has been by far our most valuable player this season.

Very tough player, plays hard. Wants to improve in all aspects and brings great energy on the floor.

If this guy was 2 inches taller we'd be seeing something really special. Unfortunately his size limits his overall potential.

His impact is undeniable. When he is on court the cavs have the 6th best defensive rating in the league. When he is off the court the cavs have the worst defensive rating... in NBA history.

The Cavs are 11-43 yet Nwaba has a positive plus minus in 383mins

Not to mention despite being fairly redundant on offense due to his shooting issues he has a 0.48 free throw rate, Hardens is 0.49.

Hard for a defense first player to show their worth on a tanking team, but he is certainly the type of player you want around when you are serious about winning again, really like what I have seen from him.

Good player Nwaba, there are plenty of playoff bound teams who could make great use of him, solid defender, finishes decently at the rim, plays within his role. Could be an important player if he is here next season.

A league source said the Cavs were likely to “do David a favor,” which probably means they intend to allow him to become an unrestricted free agent.

There goes another avatar.

I like him a lot, but he probably doesn't have much of a place on the Roster with the picks we made.
