Does anyone have an opinion on Ballon d'Or?

Are they treating it more like a lifetime achievement award or does Messi deserve it? Tough to say, but I do think Haaland had the best club season in modern history. Any other year, he walks home with the trophy.

I guess that’s the difference between American award voting.

In NFL/NBA/MLB, if a team was the best in the regular, won the championship, and had a statistically dominant player, that player would win MVP
