Lets face it, Seattle will continue 2 clear house. Remember we got Wally and Delonte for Donyell and Ira, along with Griffin.

Cavs give: Snow, Varejo, future 2nd Rd pick

Cavs Get: Wilcox, Watson

This trade will save Seattle approximately 6 million dollars. It will also help them lose till they get out of Seattle.

Wilcox is a monster down low with a 52% fg percentage, which is better than any Cavs current big man. 13pts, 7rbs.

Earl posted 11 pts, 7 assists. He shot 37% from 3 point range.

Draft a big wing and I think this team could carry us. I would even consider taking away the 2nd rd pick and giving up next years 1st round. The pick would be low and I think this could make us that good.

The lineup I'd like 2 see
Watson/ Delonte
Rush/ Gibson/ Pavlovich
Lebron/ Wally
Wilcox/ Smith
Z/ Wallace

We could still dangle Wally, and Damons contracts for trades.

Uninteresting. I'm not up to giving up attractive assets to Wilcox and Watson only.

Looks good if you want to stay mediocre.

Wilcox isn't bad but for some reason I wouldn't want that deal.

Also not interested, however I would love to land the 24th and or the 32nd picks in the upcoming NBA Draft. I see acquiring those picks very doable because the Sonics hold six picks, two in the first round and four in the second round.;)

I see where you are going with this but we give up the attractive contract of Snow and one of our best young trade assets to get a couple of guys who are mediocre at best.

If we trade snow its going to be part of a significant upgrade, if we dont, we will let his contract end and take the luxury tax relief that the medical retirement will provide. No reason to trade for medicore talent, our team is full of that now.

The Sonics willingly gave up Delonte and Wally because they weren't part of there future. Same with giving up Kurt Thomas.

I'd definitely take Willcox because he would provide some frontcourt youth that we are desperately lacking at 26 years old, plus he is good enough to help this team immediately. But Watson isn't much of an upgrade over West/Gibson IMO.

I'd prefer to take Willcox and a couple of their picks in any deal they might need to make for cap relief.

I want absolutely no part of Wilcox. It's Drew Gooden v1.8

I'll pass completely. It'd be as bad as drafting the ginger.. Thank god he withdrew from the draft.

Why is everyone acting like Snow is such an attractive asset. He is the same as Wally, Joe, and Damon. Maybe not Joe, he can actually play. The rest are expiring contracts.

Remember u can deal Wally and Damon still after this trade. Give me talent, why would we want more late picks. We can buy them anyway.

Well for starters we "act" like that because there are actual teams who are looking to trade players just to dump them for many reasons and Eric Snow is a good piece for those kinds of trades. What makes Eric a great trading piece is he is going to retire after he gets shipped. Saves a lot of cash for the recipient of his contract.

Bottom line, teams are not trading for him because of his talent.

4 real LBJ 48. A trade partner could recoup half of his contract, max. I might be an idiot, but I think Wally is most attractive at 12 mil. The studs u want probably make more than 7.2 big guy. Teams aren't drueling over saving 3.5 mill except maybe Seattle.

Go ahead and dream of getting Kobe 4 Snow. We would still have 21 mil in expiring contracts.

I don't see anyone suggesting Kobe for Snow or similar wacky trades. There might have been a few but no sane man in this forum condoned it.

We're just open for possibilities in getting better and proven players. W&G already suggests that the Cavs are talking to teams who are willing to trade for the right pieces.

Trading for Wilcox and Earl Watson is just redundant. Just like the great 3-team trade, good but not what we can depend on down the line because it lacks the 2nd leader/scorer we need beside LeBron.

Eric would save a team money...not cap relief, but cold hard cash speaks volumes. And buying a pick is not as easy as you think. We tried to buy one last year and look where it got us. Zero extra picks. Usally they want you to take on a bad contract plus the 3 million max that can be offered. This is why it is much more difficult to be a gm than the casual fan realizes.
