...I think Voyager is my favorite....

In all seriousness, TNG is and will always be my favorite. I think the number of characters in it that are unique and fun is more than any other Trek series. Although I will say, I haven't seen any of Enterprise and only a little bit of DS9. TOS is fine but it's not really worth watching anymore, IMO.

Oh man, if you haven't seen much of DS9 you need to remedy that pronto. The first two season are rather boring. But starting in Season 3 it goes maximum warp without looking back.

DS9 is loaded with great characters, and characterization. Complex character arcs that span years. It qualifies as one of the great narrative driven TV series. It was ahead of its time.

It ratchets up TNG to 11. And then 15.

Can I say something really shitty?

I absolutely hate that it cannot be upscaled to HD. I've tried watching it and watching 4:3 aspect 90's TV on my 4K TV really isn't that great.

I thin it's on paramount+, right? Maybe I'll give it a shot further.

What about Enterprise? Anything worth watching there?

DS9, DS9, DS9. So many great characters that were recurring in addition to the main cast. Fine acting. Excellent stories. Nurse Ratched. First season was not so good but it picked up after that.

“Far Beyond The Stars” takes it to 20.

I have a friend who is a HUGE Trek fan. He always has SWORN by DS9. I hate it that I missed it during it's original run

Yeah, it sucks not having it in HD. But you'll get used to it.

DS9 is epic in scope. Galactic saga. But does character development better than any Trek show.

As, @2 For The Brew, notes the reoccurring characters are so well done that they sometimes upstage the regulars.

Even peripheral characters have big shows, like Nog. He is a smaller character but two episodes featuring him, "The Siege of AR-558," and "Its Only a Paper Moon," really hit hard. Especially for any vet with PTSD.

Oh and Garak. Garak and Dukat. Garak, Dukat and Damar. The Cardassian leads are amazing.

Season 3 of ENT is ok. Season 4 is, dare I say, excellent.

Just remember, Miles O'Brien is the single most important man to ever wear a Starfleet uniform.
He’s the clearest evidence DS9 > TNG. The latter never really gave him much to do but DS9 had great scripts for him and his acting was superb.

10/12/21, 930am EDT. William Shatner is scheduled to go to space. Awesome.

Lower Decks is still a better Star Trek than Discovery or Picard.
