This is a great free throw exhibition so far.

I liked what I saw from Christmas on offense. I know he's 0-5, but he was some real skill on that end.

Not sure I agree, it seems like he's fairly confident making moves but he doesn't look to have any touch. Compare him to Kuzmic on the other end. And on defense he's way too happy to abandon his man to go for blocks.

I've also been pretty disappointed with Joe Harris so far, seems like he'd be able to create a lot more but his handles have looked pretty shaky so far.

Yea I don't care one bit about how a rookie looks on defense in game 1. I don't even look at it unless the guy is being billed as a defensive stopper. All rookies suck at it.

Need to see more. Christmas showed flashes of potential. We may not see him play that great at all if he isn't playing beside people like LeBron, or at the least learning from our vets. I feel like a lot of on the fly learning and guidance will help a lot.

Might be the same case for Joe Harris. Joe might not look good if he isn't playing beside someone like LeBron. He isn't meant to be PG. And summer league is hectic play anyway, bunch of players going 1 on 1 and jacking up crazy shots.

But based on this game, Haws should take Joe's roster spot on the team. Dude was PURE from three. If he keeps it up, I'd consider it. Joe's spot on the team is to be a shooter anyway, he won't be much more than that. Best shooter should take the spot.

Didn't get to see much of Pointer, but I was sort of impressed in the limited time I saw him. Didn't look as raw as I expected. Showed way more offensive skill and versatility than I expected. I think he has potential. Still probably too raw to make the team but you never know.

Benimon was the big surprise to me. He was in the right place at the right time almost every time on the boards. Sort of reminded me of a mini-Tristan. Active and a high motor. He finished with 10 boards total, 4 offensive boards, and 4-4 from the field with 8 points.

I look forward to Cook playing. I'm sure he will be the best player on the floor. But Haws should get more minutes.

Kind of a boring game, I wanted to see some potential from the young cats out there. The best part was Reggie comparing Harris to LBJ. Anyways, I definitely wanted to see more from Christmas....

Was kind of sad I missed this game then I saw the box score. My friend is a huge Syracuse fan and really likes Christmas, but we've seen that a bad showing in Summer League can really be the end of these guys even though they're draft picks - see Dwight Powell from last year (ended up with Mavs in case youre curious).

Dwight Powell had 19 and 14 last night. Good for him
