Summer League Game 3, Cavs vs. Wolves, July 11, 8:30pm

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Felder is going to have to knock down jumpers to get much run at the NBA level. Struggling with that in his minutes that I've seen.
He is knocking down mid range jumpers this game but struggling from 3.

I actually thought Putney used his length well on defense a few times during the first half. He is chucking, but it seems like he does have range, and he shoots the ball in motion. Fact is, most - if not all - of these guys aren't good enough to make an NBA roster of our caliber.

Definitely, for most of these guys they want to prove to European scouts that they are worth a US roster spot in the Euroleague so they can make more money than the D League stipend.

Lue coming on to give us the scoop.

Felder finally hit a three. A spot up one. All the threes I had seen him take prior were off the bounce.

Kind of ironic they had the Golden State Warriors sideline reporter doing a Cavaliers summer league game, even Coach Lue knew and wasn't going to give her any of the team's plans for the upcoming season.

The game, itself, was entertaining, the team finally got into some sort of offensive rhythm and Lue even said he is giving Liggins a hard look as he should because he has mildly impressed me so far.

That would be false though, too, because Robinson won in 2003. I think one of the stat guys messed up. The general idea though makes sense. I.E., it's rare for a #1 pick to win a title for their franchise.

Has Bennett won a title with his D-League team? I'm sure he would be alone in that honor...

Didn't watch the game. How was Corey Jefferson? He made a good impression on me and I was hoping he'd get more minutes. Seems he did alright by the boxscore, 15 mins, 3-4 shooting, 8 rebs, 1 block.

I think we should lok at him more seriously. Hope he gets a camp invite.
