Summer League Game 7, Cavs vs. Bulls, July 17, 8:00pm

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Simpson missed lay up completely changed the game. Would have put the Cavs up 4 with under 2 minutes left, instead, he misses a wide open bunny and Valentine goes down to bank a 3 to put the Bulls up 1.

Sorry fella, but if you have NBA aspirations, you probably need to learn how to make layups.

Simpson cost the cavs this game big time. Then of course valentine makes some trash basket on the other end.

Good job, good effort. Minus you Simpson...

Had they just let Felder dominate the ball and run the offense for the entire final 3 minutes, I think we would have won.

It's not a big deal either way. Felder and McRae, any minutes they spend on the floor in the regular season, will have a much different role than what they had in Summer League. Saw enough positives out of both of them, especially on prospect deprived summer league roster, to be pleased.

McRae thought he was LBJ/Kyrie down the stretch...... :chuckle:

McRae and Felder both played crappy, Felder was better than McRae on offense, and worse on defense. Echoing @MirORich, though, both did things well that they'll need to do this season, and both were really good the whole tournament. I have nothing but positive thoughts coming out of the tournament. Go Cavs!

Tough loss. We missed a couple bunnies down the stretch, and of course Valentine had that lucky bank-three. But we had our opportunities to win, tip of the cap to the Bulls.

Felder was impressive.

I missed this one. Just looking at the box score, 17 TOs to 10 assists. That's an ugly game, even by summer league standards.

Whatever. McCrae will get a shot to earn minutes early in the season. We'll see if he can succeed or not.

We had a good little run in SL. McRae & Felder killed it. Was fun to watch.

Felder continues to impress me. His ball handling and court vision is better than I thought. I will admit the Bulls turned this around when the bigger guy had Felder defending but I feel like his duties on the Cavs is going to be in the passing lanes for steals on defense and a spot up shooter or fast break layups on the offensive end.
