Re: two controversial TDs

The Ertz call was 100% correct and pretty clear, based on the rules. Once Ertz took 2 stepsand was touched by Mcourty, he was officially a runner and had completed a catch. This was different than the Jesse James play in week 16 because James was never touched before he went down. Now, I think both should have been catches, and the rule should change, but based on the way the rule is stated, both were clearly the correct calls.

I am unsure about the Clement TD. What saved him was the fact that the replay ahd to be "indisputable". I think he was bobbling, but is there ever a shot of him 100% bobbling the ball? Maybe, but I can see how it's possible he didn't ever lose control. On the James play, there was a clear shot that showed 100% that the ball hit the ground.

Agree with this.

Pats also got away with two blatant PIs. One on the Clement failed two point conversion and one to Alshon Jefferies in the endzone.

Philly just looked like they were getting a few good bounces.

It also felt that while the Patriots team isn't "bad"? They feel more so like they were carried by Tom Brady being the modern era GOAT (Otto Graham is the GOAT) and Belichick's coaching skills.

Eagles were more complete, more of a machine. Years of good drafting, and a team culture that has been one of the best in the NFL since 1999 or so has really put them in a position to be a consistent contender for many a good year.

I also think Brady's shoulder was messed up. I could notice a few passes that just seemed off during the day, and I've seen that happen with the Browns before. Perhaps he got hurt against Jacksonville two weeks prior?

Anyways. It felt like it was a good game, but man the Eagles as a whole...what an insufferable bunch.

As an Eagles fan going back to Randall and Buddy.... this was like the Cavs 2016 sequel for me.
FUUUUUUUUUUCK THE CHEATRIOTS!!!!!! Took 13 years but it was sweet revenge.

Likewise !!! As a lifelong Eagles fan I say eat a bag of dicks, Danny Amendola....

Freddy Mitchell, Seth Joyner, Vince Papale and Irving Fryar for life....

That was hilarious to see Freddie Mitchell actually at that Super Bowl.
Also, that bullshit Amendola reverse to Brady pass failing was hilarious. Did that to the Eagles 2 seasons back and I thought it was bullshit then.
