So you're saying that the only thing that really separates them is the rings then?

Peyton has played with more pro-bowls offensively than Brady has in his career. They did a comparison on number of pro-bowls overall both have played with, and its dead even. Yet Peyton fans will always us the "well Brady just played with better talent" excuse.

Of course its a team sport, but if anyone thinks Peyton has been playing with shit his entire career, that is just a horseshit excuse.

I personally think the Patriots would have gotten dismantled just as badly if not worse by Seattle if they were in this game instead of the Broncos. Seattle played a fantastic game from start to finish. I don't put this on Manning, that whole team shit the bed tonight but Seattle won this game because they were just better.

Don't know if anyone saw this....

It was when they were interviewing the Seahawks players....

Brady still has been to 2 SB's since. And if it wasn't for Welker dropping one catch he should have caught, and Eli making the luckiest throw in the history of football. They had Julian Edelman as receiver as a slot corner in one of the SB's by the, that's how shitty their defense has been since. Yet Brady is literally two plays away, from having 5 SB's.

Peyton laid the biggest egg ever, with the greatest offense of all-time. Regular season, of course he's the best of all-time, but I don't know, isn't post season success in ALL sports is what builds legacies? Having a 11-12, or whatever his shitty record is in the post season, and his awful performance now, Peyton fans don't want to start a Brady debate right about now.

Twice Peyton "lost" playoff games to the eventual Super Bowl champ because one of the most accurate kickers of all time missed a 40 yarder in a dome and a safety let up a 70 yard TD with 30 seconds left. They are also 2-2 against each other in the playoffs.

I don't think the Patriots would have won, they had no business doing anything this year. They lost their best receiver, their tight end is in jail, they lose their best tight end to a ACL season injury. Their defense sucks, lose their two best defensive players to season ending injuries. Brady's best target is a former QB, turn punt returner.

Yet, they went into Denver, were relatively competitive. Who knows, if Talib doesn't get hurt in that game, it could have gone different. Denver had the most explosive offense in history, greatest receiving core, great line, great running game, and I think a very underrated Bronco defense.

They only score 8 freakin' points, and you don't put any of it on Peyton Manning. Really? Seriously? 8 points! Colin freakin' Kaepernick did more against the Seahawks offense in Seattle, than what Peyton Manning and the greatest offensive in the history of football could do.

Exactly his number 1 reciver was a player who played quarterback his whole life. Brady lost Gronk, hernendez, welker, woodhead, and branch. While Payton had welker, DT, thomas, decker, and knowshon. Also the pats defense lost 2 captins wilfork/mayo then lost talib (4 games, starting saftey, and there other starting DE.

With all that the patriots still had a 12-4 record ( after being robbed by the refs in the games vs jets/panthers)to mannings 13-3 record. Manning wasn't the MVP this year it was Brady

Honestly, godfather, although I'm inclined to agree with your assessment/bashing of Peyton Manning, there is really something to be said about this Seahawks defense. What we witnessed tonight will go down as one of the greatest defensive performances in the history of the league. To put a team that averaged around 40 ppg completely on ice like they did is incredible. They put on an excellent performance, and just because Manning sucked tonight shouldn't diminish their accomplishments at all, imo.

tl;dr: I think this one was more about the Seahawks turning in an all-time performance on defense and less about Manning doing a choke job on the biggest stage.

I'm not taking anything away from the Seahawks, I even said that defense might be top-3 all-time. What I saw was awesome. Hey, if Peyton got beat, I wouldn't have said there's serious shame in that. I never thought he was the greatest ever regardless.

But this was the number one rank offense, ever! They only scored 8. I'm stunned, I never in my wildest dreams, regardless of Peyton's post season issues would think it'd be that. I had the Broncos winning 20-17. I didn't think Peyton would have to light up the scoreboard up to win.

8 points, when you're as good as Peyton, with the talent they have is inexcusable. When Brady only scored 14 points, with an all-time great offense the Peyton lovers wanted to poke at him for that. At least for Brady's defense, the Giants line was just beating his line off the ball all game, and Brady still almost won the game.

Manning never had a prayer. I thought his line wasn't that terrible, there were times he was just anticipating pressure that was never there.

Peyton is still a top-5 all-time great. But best ever? Never.

The security gave the same effort as the Broncos did tonight...

But seriously, how does that happen? That is scary as hell..

One of the all-time greats? Sure. Best ever? No way. He just doesn't have the hardware or the postseason credentials to justify being in that conversation.

The Pats were relatively competitive against Denver? Did I watch a different game? I actually tend to agree that Peyton choked, Brady is better, and he had no weapons or team around him. I just had to comment about them being competitive. Denver shit on the Pats from start to finish.

As far as commercials.

I actually kinda liked the crop of commercials. There weren't many, if any, "great ones", but a lot of good, solid ones. I liked the Colbert-Pistachio, the dog-horse, the Doritos Time Machine and the Doberhuaua the best. Also liked the Matrix, the German Engineers getting Wings, the Riggle-Franco commercial, the Tebows and the Muppets.
