A guy who does construction next door told me he is putting up a building with this guy in Cleveland, and the main man in charge of putting the building up is the same guy responsible for the 90 million dollar retractable roof over Browns stadium.

My neighbor said the guy in charge of it said he had a signed affidavit saying that if the retractable roof over the Stadium is complete then the NFL will host Superbowl 50 in Cleveland

How awesome would that be? Heck maybe we'll be in it by then :chuckles:

Im not going to even get caught up in this thing. The public opinion will refute this thing happening unless it is a complete win financially for the city of Cleveland.

50 is a long time away but still thats sweet

You'd think 50 would be the biggest hyped one being that it's the half century superbowl. Hope we can get it :D

Ohio is the home of football, so it would make sense.

Canton OHIO!

And NO, this will not happen. The revenue that a Super Bowl brings does not outcount the cost for a roof!

Don't worry run, the city will fund it by hiking up cigarette and booze tax. Just go cold turkey for the next year and it won't affect you in the least :chuckles:

Super Bowl 50 in C-Town??? Sweet that is what I am talking about... Maybe the Browns will fianlly be in it by then that would be even more awesome...

superbowl 50=bad

im a old school kinda guy. i like seeing football being played in the rain and snow.

espicially in cleveland, we need the snow dammit.

the roof will not go up, and cleveland will still be a "cold-weather" city.

People act like the dome means no more snow games...guys the dome is to be used only if it is...

A)Lightning which would case them to stall the game like last year.
B)Used it for the Superbowl or non NFL Event.

It's going to be RETRACTABLE so you can put it up and take it off within minutes..it would bring a lot of revenue and excitement to the city.

Id love to have a super bowl but im not a big fan of the roof idea.

Well Mac the roof idea would come at the expense of the cigarette smokers with taxes on that most likely and maybe they could implement those casinos? Idk..we're pretty poor in C-Town but this could really bring some life to the city..the flats would be renovated by then I think..

Casinos would be a great idea for Cleveland and Ohio in general.

It'd lift some of the pressure off of the city to pull money out of our ass..the traffic cams are a ***** we were speeding to a hospital to see my Grandpa and got nailed..inconsiderate bastards
