Before we move on and talk about whatever the Browns have planned at cornerback, props to a guy who outperformed expectations three years straight as a Cleveland Brown.

Mitchell is expected to be a third corner, played like a second corner but gets paid like a fourth corner.

I would've liked to have him on the roster as first man up at under four million a year.

I understand that Berry and DePo don't want to pay for depth, I just don't feel comfortable letting a dependable veteran like Mitchell go when we have to depend on someone as unreliable as Greedy.

When we inevitably sign or draft two quality CB's, I will feel much more okay about letting Mitchell walk and look back at how stupid I was for being concerned over this move.
