I don't see OSU beating Duke or Louisville. Ohio State needed last second shots to beat Iowa State and Arizona. While those teams are solid, Duke and Louisville are on another level. I would much rather face Duke though because if Louisville brings their A-game, it might be over by halftime.

Am I the only one who thought Kansas should have fouled Burke before regulation ended? I mean they were up by 3 with a few ticks left....should have just kept it a free throw shootout and overtime would have never happened...but oh well, that was a game that I didn't feel good about from the start for Kansas anyways.

I agree on facing Duke. This would be a third time in two years we would have to face them so both squads would be very familiar with each other. We went into Duke and played a hell of a game in the beginning of the season and we are a far better team now than the team that stepped on the floor that night in early November.

General rule of thumb is foul when up 3 and under 7 seconds. I don't believe Michigan had any timeouts left either so that's definitely what they should've done IMO

I thought both Louisville and Kansas were by far the best two teams in the tourney, with Louisville being a bit better. Michigan made it happen against a much better Kansas team. The best teams don't always win.

Sure, Louisville is better than Ohio State, but bring them on I say, if Ohio State manages to win tonight.

But I wouldn't be discouraged by Ohio State. Their ability to stay poise speaks large volumes. When the game gets close, a lot of these teams, as we see, even a great team like Kansas gets tight.

We'll see how Louisville responds once a team punches back, and they feel the pressure. It's going to happen. As good as they've been, the competition hasn't be the greatest yet either. Duke will give them an honest fight.

You know having to win close games in the tournament means absolutely nothing as a future predictor right? So many teams that have won championships have had to grind out a few tough early wins.

Yeah I feel the same way. It was strange cheering them on last night. Like, yeah they're the underdog, and yeah they're Big 10. But it's Michigan lol.

Yeah, but OSU has also been playing some of their worst ball. Louisville and Duke are probably better teams, but anything can happen in the tourney. I don't think the gap between them is as large as most think.

I undertand that. You can look at what OSU has done and formulate one of two opinions. You can say that OSU learned how to win close games, is experienced, does what it takes to win, they are playing poorly, and that they can't control who their opponents are. Or you can say ISU and Arizona are average teams that OSU barely beat, OSU is tired, Louisville and Duke have more talent, etc. I hope Ohio State wins. I'm just suspect at this point. But as others have said, anything can happen in 40 minutes.

I hear ya. But, myself, I always pull for Big Ten teams in the tourney. Even those low life dudes north of the border. Pretty much follow rooting in this order, Cleveland area teams, Ohio teams, Big Ten teams, a morass of other teams depending on whims. Some where in there are the underdog wunderkinds that catch your heart. Their position in the pecking order could vary a bit. Depends how much they pull you in with whatever unique style, or story, creates their ability to overachieve.
