The 2013 Men's NCAA Basketball Tournament

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Far and away the worst sports injury I have ever seen. There's a picture floating around the interwebs right now showing his leg... the bone is protruding out four inches, and several Louisville players that were on the bench at the time threw up.

Really hope he is able to overcome this. Just terrible.

It was rough, not even sure how that happened. Feel bad for the kid though. He's from Atlanta and he won't get to play in front of his home town.

Yeah they can show replays of this shit but when they show tits on TV all hell breaks loose.

Undiagnosed stress fracture caused this.

And the whole bench was right there to see it. Seeing the disgust, pain, and anguish over what happened to their teamate was enough for me to know that it was a devastating and horrific injury. That picture above freaking crazy.

Visually it has to be the worst injury i have seen in sports.

I hate when games are decided like this. Fuck that jumpball call and fuck Luke Hancock.

Damn. Wichita played well, really pulling for them to win it all. If they'd beaten Louisville they could beat anyone.

You and me both. And I said the same thing. It was a good run. They put up a better fight than I thought. I wish they would have got that last call and had a shot at the three for the tie but oh well.

trey burke had a horrible game and they still won... if he has a good game they will win a championship. bad game they lose. cant have an off game against this team.

Syracuse didn't play good ball until the second half. They did the same thing OSU did against Wichita. They tried to win the game in one half of basketball. You can't do that this late in the tournament.

As much as I wanted Wichita to win, this outcome is probably for the best. If anyone is going to beat Michigan I think it's Louisville. They play the same style of defense that Syracuse ran tonight when they went on their run, and they do it better. They matchup well with Michigan.

I'm also kind of glad OSU lost. If they somehow made it to the championship against Michigan I have a feeling they would have been embarrassed. They've played some of their worst ball in this tournament and Michigan has played some of their best.

I was/still am frustrated by the OSU lost. Only because just like in the Arizona game, I saw our coach get outcoached and the players had to try to pull it out without much help from the sideline while the other team's coach was getting the best of Thad.

I love his recruiting and he is still young enough to grow. But make an adjustment when what you set to start a game isnt working.

Wichita had a plan for shutting down Aaron Craft. Play off him on the perimeter and go under on screens, then dare him to shoot. And he played right into their hands and was not smart enough to adjust. When he left the game in foul trouble in the second half, Wichita was in trouble because Shannon pushed the ball and guys like Ross and Thompson had to be crowded and played tighter outside.

And that little "press" was a waste of time and energy where they would try to deny an inbounds but the minute Wichita got it in, they backed off to half court. That was pretty pathetic. We have the size and wings to institute something similar to what Kansas used all season when they wanted to speed guys up, like a 3/4 court trap.

What I dont like and want Thad to improve on, is his game management.

Can't disagree with anything you said here. Thad did get outcoached. That said, he's a good recruiter and he's pretty good at coming up with a game plan. He suffers the same ailment that so many of the coaches of our favorite teams do. He's not great with in game decisions. I do wish he was a bit better at recruiting outside the midwest, but that's another issue.

I'm in no means advocating we get rid of Thad. He's the best coach OSU basketball has had in a long time and he's been great for the program. I just think he has some issues to work on.

My only point was that I think OSU would have been thoroughly spanked by any of these teams in the final 4. OSU did beat Michigan in the past, but that was back before McGary started coming on.

what the fuck is going on with this albretch kid
