The Indians and Cavs games are an insanely great value when you break it down on a game-by-game basis. The Browns, OTOH, are about $25 per game, which is a lot to pay to get ass raped. Butt I keep doing it.
Don't worry, as a fellow Browns fan i can assure this is our season. :chuckle:

mmmmm....internet warriors who all had to prove they were the smartest.......
Speak for oneself.

When you post what you know and others come unglued by it, you aren't trying to be the smartest guy in the room.

No, it wasn't everybody and I always read your stuff but there were a lot of guys that would qualify. And then there was Reno lol. BTW where is our ROY Ka'ai Tom?

What a blessing to not have that guy around. Even with him on ignore, and pages of venetian blind posts, he was still an absolute irritation.

Some online sportsbooks will allow you to "cash out" your bets after the odds change. So, with that being said, the Indians at 10/1 to win the AL and at 25/1 to win the World Series both looked incredibly enticing to me. If the season goes the way we hope and the Indians make a run, I have my doubts that I'll let either bet go through to completion, but Im hoping that we see enough of a shift in the odds that I can cash out both bets early and hopefully at least triple up on what I think are odds that are too low to start the season.

I did it a few years back when the Saints were 25/1. I ended up cashing when the odds dropped to 8/1. They lost in the playoffs the following game so I was stoked to have cashed at peak value.

Indians Place Roberto Perez On IL
By Jeff Todd | July 29, 2020 at 2:24pm CDT

The Indians have placed catcher Roberto Perez on the injured list, skipper Terry Francona tells reporters including MLB.com’s Mandy Bell (via Twitter). Outfielder Daniel Johnson will take the open roster spot.
Perez is dealing with an injury to his right shoulder. There’s no indication as of yet as to the seriousness. For the time being, he’ll take at least a week off before determining the next steps.
The Indians had already brought in Beau Taylor to cover for Perez. Taylor will pair with Sandy Leon behind the plate. The Cleveland organization will surely at least consider adding another catcher to the 60-man pool.
The real concern here is that Perez could miss substantial time. That’d be a significant blow to the Indians. The 31-year-old is off to a rough start in 2020 but last year turned in 449 plate appearances of league-average hitting while delivering well-regarded glovework behind the dish.

Probably shopping for another catcher as we type...otherwise we are looking at you Mike Freeman.

Not sure what he has left, but Red Sox removed LuCroy from their roster today...did not see transaction, but likely a DFA.

@AZ_

what the hell happened?
Was experiencing some soreness, team became alarmed when he lollipopped one to first on a double play attempt yesterday.

Hoping he can rest and recover, I'll become more concerned if he's unable to go after the 7-10 days without throwing. His defensive skill set will eventually catch up with this team, they don't really have anyone else who can handle a staff like he can.

And I like Leon.
