Baker Mayfield: Fire The Cannons

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Today is HUGE for Baker. He plays poorly and things could get interesting with he and the fans.
I hope he understands the importance of this game.

He is joking.

Yesterday, Triplethreat said that the expectations for Mayfield are too high for people around here. Today, he says Mayfield is a lion and future superstar.

Oh I'm aware. Point still stands

I was also one of the first to give him credit for an excellent finish to 2018 which surpassed my expectations.

Just not going to buy into the rampant, fucking relentless excuse making that has been going on all year in a failed attempt to marginalize how generally terrible he's been.

The last few weeks have not been consistent, or above average enough for me to think he's turned some kind of corner. The Ravens game is the only game this year where we've been able to actually sit back and applaud a performance by the QB.

Nobody doesn't realize the other problems on offense, I assure you.

Baker has been pretty average this year but it's fair to say he has also been let down by his WR corp. There seems to be a drive-killing drop in just about every other game this year.

Drops aren’t always a function of poor WR play.

Which is why Mayfield and Kitchens both have stressed timing and ball placement as key areas of focus for getting better.

Just like how sacks aren’t always the product of a poor OL.

I get it but I have seen enough balls hit our wideouts right on the hands to know they have dropped their fair share of gimmes, OBJ in particular.

I might be misremembering since the Browns have made me drink a lot on Sundays this year, but didn't Callaway drop and fumble a relatively easy TD pass so that it bounced into the air and got picked off?

Against the 49ers

Yeah on the fucking 1 inch line too . . .

Lions don’t concern themselves with Sheep and well, Baker is a Lion and Rosen is a fucking sheep.

Why do we care about that bum.

Let’s focus on ways our future superstar franchise QB can continue to get better like he has the past 3 weeks.

Lion, and especially Tiger (tigers are bigger and stronger than male lions) seems a bit much.

Last year he was more of a leopard. A very good Big Cat to be sure. They've killed more humans and our hominid ancestors than any other big cat. Very versatile. More clever than a lion or tiger.

But this year, he has been more of a Maine Coon.

Albiet Maine Coons can inflict some real damage if they wished.

He’s been a house cat for most of the year.

Trying to shit on some other QB on another team to cover for Bakers shitty play/attitude and get back at boobie. Classic stuff everyone. Well done.
Get the fuck outta here. Az is the first with some ignorant ass 2 word comment about OUR qb making a comment in return to a bullshit question?! Az is the first in this thread with ignorant comments while a game is going on if Baker didn't put up a spectacular game...And then Az follows it up with only difference is Rosen doesnt get the same excuses it's just because the teams Rosens on. Classic stuff

Drops were a pretty big conversation for you with defending Rosen predraft though.
