Monday team went 9-0 and beat the Tema that always beats us two times in the regular season.

Feeling good going into the championship game.

Our manager fucking sucks. We lost last season to them bc he was wasted. I made a request before the game that we don't get shit faced.

We were missing two really good players. I jumped at the opportunity to find us some ringers and he says "it woild be really cool if my friend could win with us so I'm asking him". Except his friend sucks. And he ran up on a ball in the outfield that cleared him by 20 feet. Also way out of position on another and gave up a hr.

The manager dropped a can of corn, and then moved UP on a girl I told him to give room for and she burned him by 10 feet for a hr..

He also bsists on pitching and no one really had anything to hit all night. So fucking bad.

He and his friend got in 1 time in 8 at bats.

We managed to tie it in the last inning and lost in extras. I'm sick of going all the way for the same thing tk keep happening. Ya it'd be really cool if his friend won too ui guess? But it would be cool to Win which we won't with him. Paradox. As a manager it's his job to put us in the best position to win and it lets the rest of the team down.

There's some really kitschy shit in rec softball, it's not like pro stuff.

The 3 of us that designed this are more traditional but the audience is in that community so we thought this was a good middle ground.

We've got like 35 requests for this design, it feels really fucking good. We put hours and hours into this

Team sucks. Guys dropping balls, people don't know how to hit line drives.

Tough spot to be in, I have better players to invite but it is turning away family.

Wanna be loyal and just as important you don't want to let the rest of the team down by not putting them in the best position to win, and teams that don't win break up.

anyway to find a good mix? Like make sure everyone is invited but having good players in key spots on the diamond like little league coaches do in a sense?

Managing this shit is really hard. The fun ones and the dedicated ones aren't as good as the people I can bring in.

I could have brought in the best player of the tournament but it would have made the og couple leave. They hit well but they arent mobile in the field. When that girl is playing well she's the best girl on the field. And yiu win bc of your girls. So they're a package deal. The superstar also isn tloyal and he sucks as a teammate.

New guy I tried out has played @majors but he fucking shit the bed today. He's the fastest man alive and he misplayed 5 balls.

Our one girl is moving in two months and we like her so we can't lose her. She dropped 3 balls in rf and didn't get on base today.

The fun ones are sucking. And I'm holding on to them because of sentimentality. Every spot is important, they're going to pick on weak players and there really isn't any room for error anyways. First team to fuck up loses.

Want the guys to be hitting. 666, maybe 4 of us are. Want the girls to hit. 400, two of them did. We dknt get to practice this style of pitching or on these lengths of fields or with these balls so we're inherently at a disadvantage. I really am tempted to drop half of them and say "winning creates family". But these are also. My friends and I would have a very hargd time telling them km going w other ppl.

I do not envy you. Managed a team once. Fucking terrible, never again. Just gotta make tough decisions. No matter what, you’ll make someone feel bad so just say fuck it.
