I'd go first one I think...

2nd one has a lot of potential, but what symbol would you use throughout the shirt?

Bla

Placed 5/10 in a backyard tourney.

We got fucked in the bracket all day. Played a free agent team so our run differential was nuts, then the champs (all should be C chips). This put us at the worst seed in winners bracket.

Should have won game 3 but we made 2 errors and gave up 5 unearned for a walk off in the last inning.

Guys hit 750 which is phenomenal and the girls hit 400 which is trash. Sucks bc we worked hard on making this team gel and they may just not be the right parts.

Swing looking fucking gold tho ,5/6.

These had to be 350+

@David, he actually has a bit of room for more power since he doesn't use his hips enough in the swing...
First swing looks ok, second one im trying somethjng different. Second one is def more armsy, focusing on keeping the bat straight and shoulder level while taking a huge step forward allowing the load to be as long back as possible. The downside to that is there isnt a lot of hips bc you're focusing exclusively on upper body. The upside is, look how much faster that bat gets around on 2 vs 1

It's a fairly tight swing either way, though. Nice.

I haven't focused on power in a long time. Too many pop ups. Everything is either a chop swing or I'm pushing the ball oppo bc it evens the swing out. I don't hit hr anymore (some day I'll revisit the power swing) but I hit like 900. Just doesn't look as pretty

Putting this in here because he just died, and he should be remembered for this performance on the National Anthem at the 1994 All Star game. The whole thing is great, but that "free" he hits at the end -- with all that emotion behind it -- is just awesome. Love to have been in the bleachers that day.

We need more renditions like his honestly... so many "music artists" don't have good enough voices to actually sing it properly, but get to cause of their names...

Nancy Score, Herb's wife, has passed away at 85 years old.
It's funny that while I listened to Herb for decades, I never had a chance to meet him.
My wife and son had a chance to meet Herb and Nancy a few times socially, and said they were wonderful people. Very friendly and welcoming. When Herb passed, Nancy even took the time to invite us to his funeral. She was a special person.

My thoughts are with the Score family and friends.

Met Herb Score at the Bethpage Air Show in NY back in 1998. We were visiting one of my dad’s childhood friends and Herb must have some family up there.

A friend and I were throwing a frisbee near the beach when Herb walked by and asked if he could toss a couple with us.

I didn’t recognize him initially, but his voice sounded familiar. My friend’s dad nudged me and said, “do you know who that is?”

I said no, but that he sounded familiar. I used to listen to all the Indians games on the radio and he had that very distinguishable voice.

Herb introduced himself and talked with us for a couple minutes. Super nice guy.

As he was about to walk off, we asked if he wanted to still throw the frisbee. He said “if you’d have recognized me, maybe. But I guess you didn’t,” and slammed the frisbee right over his knee shattering it into four pieces. He threw one of them right into the ocean and laughed and signed the other three for me, my friend and his dad.

Then he just walked off into the sunset as the Blue Angels streaked over his head.
