The Chubb-Hub Yardage Delivery Service

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I get that we generally try to save Chubb for the long season

But also fuck that. He’s my favorite player, he’s our best player, and I want the ball in his hands as much as possible
Agreed. Also with the inconsistency the rest of the team has shown, there might not even BE a rest of the season worth saving for, if we don’t try and go all-out with him now.

Nick Chubb makes Batman look like a little bitch. Welcome back, Nicholas!!!

IMO the idea isn't to rest Chubb for later in the year. It's basically to have him rested for late in that specific game.

He got 11 carries in the 4th quarter yesterday.

the problem with this strategy is you let bad teams hang around (yesterday) or you let games get away from you (NE) and then it doesn’t matter how fresh your guys are, the game is over

For NE I’m talking specifically about how the DLINE rotated out after 5 plays on the first drive and didn’t come back for like 6 or 7 plays

Thank God we had them well rested for the 4th quarter of a 38 point game though

Well sure. But you're arguing something totally different there too.

It's obviously significantly different doing a rotation at RB when the replacements are Kareem Hunt and D'Ernest Johnson, both extremely capable NFL talents, than it is rotating early on the DL when it's Joe Jackson and Ifeadi Odenigbo out there in place of Garrett and Clowney.

A consistent rotation makes sense when you have highly capable reserves, which the Browns have at RB.

Chubb is currently tied with Charles at #1 for yards per carry for running backs at 5.4.

I found this while trying to find how often teams are stacking the box against us this year. It's from the offseason and probably explains why we have managed to survive the turbulance on offense so far. Guy is a huge reason we still have a chance at the playoffs.

One of the most efficient players facing a high SFCR was Nick ChubbP. Chubb saw a 28.9-percent (No. 16) SFCR, averaged 6.1 SFYPC, and averaged 54.0 Yards Created per game. Like Cook, Chubb got past the stacked box and created more yardage for himself, boding well for future production.

Wouldnt you think its Adrian Peterson before Chubb gets in? Sure they both get in some day, but even as a joke its Peterson and Chubb in 2022
Fuck Peterson. The Hall is in Ohio, Chubb gets first dibs.

Voting is for Fed Ex Ground (& Air) players of the year...

Tweet was just a supporting argument to further cement Nick Chubb's great start to his career thus far.
