The Chubb-Hub Yardage Delivery Service

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
In retrospect, great to look at this, and how Jim Brown was one of the few to predict him to be HOF caliber (and one of the only to predict TRich would flop.)
Lots of people predicted Richardson would flop......

I'm not sure I've ever seen Chubb run the ball and thought "I bet [name a different running back] could have gotten more out of that play". Every single time he runs the ball, I think he's getting the most possible yardage out of the play.

I'm sure someone can find the odd play here and there where he missed. But it would be a damn rare thing. He's HOF good right now.

At this point It seems like a general consensus that Chubb is the best pure runner in the league. McCaffrey and others do provide value in the passing game which is obviously huge and makes them a more versatile chess piece, and why they are paid such exhorbitant amounts of money. In terms of just pure running ability Chubb is virtuelt in a class of his own, though, with the only other arguable contender being Derrick Henry.

Double-posting my likely-mediocre data study on why I think Chubb's new contract makes sense...

Asking out of curiosity, not to challenge, but what school is more "RBU" than Georgia's 5-7yr run they had?
Sony Michel was great too. Them and Alabama are just at another level in terms of RB production.

I worded that poorly. I meant to say on that level or better (IMO)

I liked Texas from Ricky to Benson to Charles. Miami was my favorite with Edggerin James, Frank Gore & Willis McGahee.

But Alabama seems like a juggernaut for recent memory. Richardson, Lacy, Henry, Jacobs, Yeldon, Drake have all done well. Then you have a handful of guys on the come up.

Georgia has maybe more top end talent but Alabama breeds quality RBs.
