He went back to Europe and is making millions there. Every media member and insider always says this kind of thing, but no one can ever give a real concrete reason he was fired and why he gets no respect in the league. If you have information please share, but people are so smug that it was 100% the right move without saying so.
Behind closed doors, he was the laughing stock of the NBA.
- Players laughed at his ridiculous smugness when he'd show up late to practices
- Coaches laughed when he'd put his foot in his mouth during press conferences, like when he compared himself to a fighter pilot
- Front offices laughed when they'd see him try to Kowtow to Lebron while Lebron sneered at him
- He nearly blew a playoff game by calling a time out he didn't have
So he might be great in Europe, but for NBA insiders, he was and still is a big joke
Whether you think it is deserved or not, that's on you, but no one in the NBA wants to be the next guy to get laughed at for hiring him
