So, I read half of the book before I saw the movie... And here's the problem with the book vs the movie... If u read the book, you'll find the movie boring... When we got to the half way point, the movie got really good, because I had no idea what was going to happen.

And I go to work today, and my manager asks me if I've seen the movie, as I had the book in my hand. I tell him I did, and he asks what I thought about it. I said the first half was boring to me because I already read that part.... But he goes into this whole spew of Jesus not being the son of GOD... (which was never said in the movie)... My manager is Jewish, and for some odd reason thinks that the Jewish religion is far more superior to any other religion.

The main point of the movie is to show that Jesus had a bloodline... Nowhere does it say he was not the son of GOD... and by the way... the movie is FICTION, which my manager swear it's FACT....

So did anyone else read the book or see the movie?... It grossed $77million in the U.S., and $224 million worldwide. Despite the church and even Albino groups protesting the book and movie.

I saw it. I thought it was pretty good. I didn't read the book, so I had nothing to compare it to, but I did like the sequences where they went back and showed stuff from the Roman times. I thought that was pretty cool.

didnt read the book, ill wait for it to come out on DVD, its not like it has any qualites that id feel that id miss out on if i went and saw it on the big screen..
X-Men on the other hand.....

X-Men... I cannot wait to see that... Don't know if Im gonna be able to see it Fri, I work doubles on the weekends, and I also have to work Sunday
Im kinda upset that there's no Gambit... He's my favorite!... But glad they got Juggernaut... Thats gonna be AWESOME!

It wasn't just you that thought the beginning of the movie was boring the first hour. I didn't read the book and I could barely stay awake at the theater. I did nod off a few times.

Save your money and wait to see this flick when its on HBO.

Critics said some acting parts in the film were laughable.
I too am waiting for Blockbuster to get this one.
Now the Omen,Nacho, and Superman I wanna see.
