The funny thing is he came into the game after that and did some pretty good things against Yao. I saw it on NBATV. Maybe he just needs to get mad in order to perform well. :chuckles:

Well...

We could offer Wally and Sasha for Darko and Antoine Walker. Walker has a team option this year, and so for all intents and purposes could be considered an unrestricted free agent. Next year, we're essentially swapping Sasha's salary for Darko. Memphis would save some ~$3M in contract for 2009-2010, and it wouldn't destroy us in terms of luxury tax next year.

And we could maybe even turn around and trade Walker, as an expiring contract...

Given that we don't have an ideal post-Z option at center, and that there aren't centers coming out of the woodwork in the NBA, I might do that trade.

Memphis GM Wallace stated recently that they would only trade Darko for an upgrade.

So scratch Darko.
