The Donovan Peoples-Jones Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
By all accounts this dude is primed to pop off this season.

Would be massive if we can go 4 wide with reliable guys: Landry, OBJ, DPJ, and Higgins. Could even swap one for Kareem as well.

And another DPJ bump

So I am not sure DPJ is growth. I have been saying he was a stud from day 1. Then he goes out and becomes our best blocking WR, and continues to work knowing he would get his time. He looked good when he played as a rookie, but Landry, ODB at first, Higgins and others got the call first, he gets his call and he makes good catches, runs a good route, and shows that speed that made him a 5 star recruit.

I think people are finally paying attention to DPJ, but the talent has flashed from day 1.

Out of the league within 12 years.

Hilarious, the average NFL career lasts just a bit over 3 years. Obviously that is allot of back end of the roster talent, but the NFL really does stand for Not For Long.

Same goes for those DBs who are required to cover Peoples Jones, not for long.

Dude finds a way to make the play, whether it's breakaway cuts, physicality, speed, reads or his vertical leap and hands. He just so frequently out-athletes his matchup.

He is good, I like DPJ and i am excited, but lets not get carried away, lol....You make him sound like Calvin Johnson, lmao...a step above for sure and he was almost uncoverable.

Had just dove into the interview where Urban referenced him as one of the best HS wideouts he had ever recruited and claimed he was worthy of a top 15 pick in that draft class. Even noting at the time he would not go that high due to disappointing numbers in time on UofM campus. So pardon my hype!

There's really no reason he cannot become a better Braylon Edwards in the years ahead.

So where was this guy? Great time to shine... And got outplayed by Schwartz.

Right where he should be--opening up running lanes and coming up with a big catch in the clutch.

Fans bitch that a guy isn't making flashy plays catching the ball, but nobody's talking about how DPJ sealed the outside for some of the massive runs we had yesterday when we were gashing the Chiefs on the ground.

If you're expecting DPJ to be a world-beater that replaces OBJ or Landry, you're going to be sorely disappointed.

If you're expecting him to be an upgrade over Khadarel Hodge, that's about right.
