The Donovan Peoples-Jones Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Eagerly awaiting the after the game fine for this one.

From the other angle he hit him with his shoulder pads, not helmet, it was a hard hit, but a clean hit. Better catch though.

  • It is an illegal hit on a defenseless receiver if the initial force of the contact by the defender's helmet, forearm or shoulder is to the head or neck area of the receiver.

Looks pretty close there, but ultimately I think you might be right on it being "clean."

The fact DPJ was kind of in the air and off balance and the hit was hard made it look worse than it was because DPJ did go flying. But the fact he didnt drop the ball from that hit was amazing. I played it back several times while watching the game live.

I have been on the DPJ train since we drafted him, i love the kid's game. Smart, tenatious, good blocker, good hands, speed, what's not to like?

Do we trust him returning punts now? Had a great day back there.

High time we send a search party out for this guy, he's been a literal apparition for a full third of a season.

8 Catches
for 97 yards
in 6 Games
and no TDs

He is simply not an NFL WR2 level player at this time and perpetually gives us nothing of substance on punt returns.

The QB play this year has been beyond suspect

Agreed but like he's got to be good for minimum of 3 catches a game even if it's absolute booty QB play in the backfield.

Like I said in another thread. DPJ didn't forget how to play WR. He didn't forget how to run outs or get open. Drops haven't been an issue.

He's only gotten targeted 18 games in 6 games. QB play has just been cheeks.
