Basically, this is a thread where you post something that you are looking to buy and can get feedback whether it is worth the money or not from other posters. With that said, I am looking at the Samsung Gear 2 Smartwatch. Any of you have it or know someone that has it? Is it worth the $300 pricetag?

Google Glass is well worth the $1500.

Just sayin'.

I might buy a moto 360 and I never get watches. The gear has some really iffy reviews. I'd buy the apple watch if it comes out but the people I work for use android.

I really really want one of these.. Not just as a toy, but I'd like to develop some augmented reality apps for it.

i think a smart watch is the dumbest idea ever. you already likely have a smart phone in your pocket, you spend all day at work and off of work on a computer, your car might have a touch screen in it, why do you need a $300 watch that does what everything else you already own does?

I am looking at the xbox 360 controllers from kingsbuying. Any of you have it or know someone that has it? Is it worth the $26 pricetag?

I have always wanted a macbook air, for like ever, but never had the cash. Now I do, and I had convinced myself that something like the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro is worth $1050, when it hit me that I can get a Macbook Pro Retina for around that much.

yeah they cost a pretty penny but I can't think of anyone who has bought a MBP and regretted it..hell everyone i know with one has had it for a few years and they go on like they were still new where as all of my windows laptops have turned to shit after 2-3 years.

So yeah, if someone wants to convince me to buy either a MBPr or a MBAir id love to hear from you. I'll be using it for reading and writing papers, reddit/youtube/forums/etc, maybe install windows and do some light gaming if i get the MBPr. yeah i can do those things on a cheaper laptop but ive used all the cheap and expensive windows laptops and they always crap out, or the build quality is sub par.

Make my post a bit more simple...

Macbook Air 11 for 770
Macbook Air 13 for 850
Macbook Pro Retina 13 for 1000
Something else entirely?

I love Lenovo, they and apple are the only computer companies I feel comfortable with giving up all that money to..I know you actually get quality from them. And a grand is damn near my limit here, going under is icing on the cake but I won't compromise on necessary features to save ~100 ya dig

I was highly interested, but I read that a lot of developers were pulling out. I'm sure you know more about this than I do. What use is Google Glass if there aren't apps out there to run?

It's good for driving especially in a state where you can't talk on the phone. Also you can see your texts without anyone thinking you are ignoring them on your phone. I still like watches in general though. I have a dozen for different occasions. You can get a pebble which is pretty cool for 100 bucks.

I do like the pebble, and i also have to admit the newest round of android watches are worlds nicer than the original Samsung Gears and crap like those
