My guess is that:

1) Lebron signs a 2 year extension in August for as much money as he can get with a player option or ETO in 2024-25, I forgot how the rules work here.
2) Bronny Jr goes for a college that is likely to make the tourney and emphasizes smart team play over incredible athleticism
3) Bronny Jr has an above average rookie season
4) Lebron lets everyone know that if you draft his son, you get him
5) Unless LA is back in contention for a title in 2024, Lebron opts out to join his son

I still think the Cavs pull a “homer move” and if they have the opportunity to do it they’ll draft Bronny!

Last season he missed alot of time because of the vaccine situation. He won't miss that time again and if Bron desperately wants Lakers to trade for him I'm assuming they've talked and Kyrie will play.

the vac situation, him missing a lot of games probably helped keep him more healthy, a lot less wear and tear. The guy is a whack job. He will screw up the locker room and at point will remember why he did not like playing with lebro n

That’s not enough to get Kyrie and taking Westbrook means the Nets would have to send salary back to the Lakers. The Nets want to send Joe Harris’ $38 million salary to the Lakers but the Lakers want Seth Curry’s expiring contract.

If the Lakers could dump Westbrook and get Kyrie just by taking on Harris’ contract they would be really stupid not to take that deal. Really stupid.

To get rid of Westbrook without the Nets taking on his contract they would have to find a third party! The Lakers are trying not to take back any salary that isn’t expiring. Other than Westbrook they don’t have the assets to send over to the Nets! The Nets are in the driver’s seat right now with both trades (Durant/Cryie)

With Durant I believe the Nets are in good position. With Kyrie I'm not so sure. Some reports say Kyrie will only play for Lakers next season. So Nets either trade him for an expiring and a pick or two from Lakers or lose him for nothing next season. The two teams rumored to be interested in Kyrie besides the Lakers (Sixers which make no sense since Harden hates Kyrie and Mavericks where Dallas people have denied that the Mavs have interest). Some reports have indicated any team is afraid to play for Kyrie if he doesn't want to be there because they know he is willing g to sit out.

He’s averaged 34 games per season with the Nets. I wouldn’t trust him on anything more than a 1 year non guaranteed deal. Anyone who does is simply empowering him to do whatever the F he wants. Which is exactly what he will do.
Even in his best year with the Nets he missed 30 games.

Taking on Kyrie is the dumbest thing they can do. He’s a franchise killer. If anyone thinks that dude is going to play a full season is insane.

Problem goes both ways! If Kyrie plays out the season and walks there won’t be a max contract waiting for him anywhere. The only teams that have max money don’t want him. If he goes to the Lakers as a FA he can’t sign for max money. At this point I don’t think the Nets care about big returns on Cryie as much as they do Durant!
