Nah. Lots of people are very interested and it's getting incredible marks on HBO.
Stick to bad football takes. Last of us is my favorite game, but it hasn't even been a decade and the first has been told too much. No interest if it's just a shot for shot live action of the game

Did you ever stop to consider that maybe the show isn't being made for you?
Clearly, based on ratings and public reception, they're doing something right. It's a hit for HBO.
I'm not arguing the product of the show. It's probably great, but just because you can make something doesn't mean you should. This game just got released on the PS5 months ago. Give me my last of us cool down. I won't be watching.

It opens up the story to an entirely new audience that doesn’t play video games
My mom is watching it bc I told her how much I liked the game and she has no PS4. Without the show she would never know the story

I get that. It's a great story. Everyone will enjoy it, just wish it got some room to breathe.

It's an incredible game. The show so far is pretty close to it. There's a massive group of people who didn't play the game and watching the show actually makes me want to play the game again along side it. The story doesn't need a rest, I think you need one. You know what the great thing about personal media consumption is. You can take your time to consume it... Just wait a year and then watch the show, lol. I'm sure you'll love it. The world doesn't revolve around you and your feelings. Nor does it around mine. I'm happy that people now finally have an opportunity to experience what in my mind is one of the best stories to ever have been created, game or otherwise. Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal are phenomenal. The HBO team is amazing.

Lol. Let him be. Appreciate that he's giving it a try. We jumped on him when he was opposed to it but now that he's willing to watch it, what's the point in jumping on him again? Lol. He listened to our rationale. Hope you enjoy it @letgocavs.
I was just giving off some of that famous letgocavs humor. No chance I watch this show for at least a few years. You all get to riled up about strangers on the internet. Take a deep breath. Everything will be ok.

Yes but it's been remastered on every system as recent as last year. Make a show about a sode character, like bill in his town or just explore the world more. But nope same old, we know what works and we stick to it approach. We all know Joel story is heartbreaking and the intro would hook anyone, but if you include PS3,PS4 and PS5 that's 4 times this intro has been done in ten years.
