The Last of Us: Part II

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I was just giving off some of that famous letgocavs humor. No chance I watch this show for at least a few years. You all get to riled up about strangers on the internet. Take a deep breath. Everything will be ok.

FYI, humor is generally meant to be funny.

Been an Xbox guy my entire life. Got a decent gaming laptop a couple years ago but have always heard great things about the game.

Been watching the show and man does it make me wanna play the game. Was so disappointed when resident evil movies came out and deviated so far from the game. Glad to hear they are sticking to the story in the game and am definitely more interested in playing the game after the show ends.

FYI, the first game releases on the PC in early March.

Yeah the game is great. Easily my favorite game ever. The second one even holds a special place to me, even if it didn't match the quality of the first.

Felt like this was a more appropriate place to post this as to not spoil anything, even with spoiler tags

TV Critics will love the bold decisions and risks that the writers made in Season 2.

Viewers who haven't played the game will both hate how Season 2 starts and the way it ends.

The TV show writers will have a tough task in getting the viewer to sympathize or connect with Abby in the way that the game did for the gamer over hours of gameplay. But I certainly have a lot of faith in Craig Mazin & Co. after seeing the first 6 episodes.

Ya, I actually think they need to introduce certain characters from the second game in the first season to lay the proper groundwork for season 2. Just generally start that story earlier and dedicate more time to it. Definitely a balancing act.

I actually think that events from the games will go over better on the show because HBO viewers are conditioned to expect shit like that. I also think TV fans in general are more accepting of daring creative decisions than gamers. And HBO viewers in particular are more inclined to be accepting of some of the themes from the Last of Us series that gamers are not mature enough to deal with.
