I made two graphs to visualize his improvement through the season. number of games into the season vs his performance in the rest of the season. For example, if a point is plotted at (10,14), it means that he averaged 14 pts per game after the 10th game.

Well if you can see them, they just show that he's getting better in scoring by shooting with a better percentage. It is actually very impressive.

Very pedestrian numbers by Cedi this year. 12 ppg on 43% and 33% on a bad team.

Many expected a big jump from him this season.

Sure, if you look at his numbers in total for the year...breaking his season down paints a completely different picture though.

First 20 games: 11.4 PPG, 5.2 RPG, 2.6 APG, on 36.7/31.6/82.2 shooting splits

Games 21-40: 11.9 PPG, 4.4 RPG, 2 APG, on 42.2/30.3/79.2 shooting splits

Games 41-now: 16.2 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 2.5 APG, on 52.6/40.9/62.2 shooting splits

He's doing exactly what you want to see from a young player with little NBA playing experience prior to this season who has all of a sudden been thrust into a top role; improving over the course of a season.

He most certainly has made a big jump his last 20+ games.

Try right-clicking on the picture itself on Imgur and copying the image address from there and pasting it in. See if that works.

Did not have a great night tonight until he hit the HUGE 3 and then the dunk. Really liked the fact with Love on the bench he stepped up when we needed him the most. So positive seeing some of these young players taking major strides forward.

Don’t care, that was a fun game last night and loved Cedi’s dunk. Young guys actually improving as year goes on. Awesome to watch.

I guess Cedi is not so happy and not much improving with Sexton.

As we know we are still playing without a real point-guard and it affects Cedi the most.

Cedi is not selfish or iso player, he can be very important part of the team if only the ball shared well.

After the Memphis game Cedi said this: "The whole game I was kind of cold, I couldn't get in a game, I didn't have a rhythm during the game"

He was cold and didn't have rhythm because Sexton didn't help in his game until the last transition game which finished with his dunk. I might be wrong but during the game I noticed this on Cedi's reactions.

If he keeps this up, this season suddenly looks better at the end. His best game as a pro and LOVE watching his confidence grow each game. This kid is playing better every night!

Dude scored 27 points in 3 quarters. Would have easily had 30 if we involved him more in the 1st where he took one shot and scored 0 points, imo.
