Sorry for Cedi and Turkey.
Actually Cedi played very well today.
Ersan Ilyasova 0/9 FG today.

Problem with Cedi is that he doesn't have the ball as much as he did in 2017, and the fact that he doesnt/can't get inside the lane and create as much as he did back then because he isn't as quick as he was 2 years ago. It's very apparent. He used to have a first step that collapsed that D, now he settles for long jumpers or he gets inside the lane, but with his man on his hip so there are much less passing opportunities.

Also, Turkey really misses Guler, Erden has regressed heavily, Aldemir is missed too.. even Sipahi.

Wilbekin doesn't play D and he controls the ball wayyyy too much. He doesn't fit Turkeys style. Balbay can't shoot and it's a big problem.

Don't understand why the Cavs tried to transform Cedi to a player that he wasn't; why not build on his strengths? Went from a multidimensional player to mostly a scorer. Trying to mold him into a 4 or a SF was a big, big mistake. He is way more unique as a tall SG and even secondary ball handler as a PG.

He can still be very good in the NBA, but it's just not the same player I used to love. He turned from a Ginobili type to a Bogdan Bogdanovic wannabe. He was more unique when he had that speed in the open court, quick feet and hands, active D and driving ability.

I hope we can still salvage his quickness.. he is just too sluggish nowadays. Still like him a lot, but not as much as a player...I love the Varejao, Ginobili types rather than the iso scorers.

This may seem harsh, but it's not. I still have high hopes for him in the NBA and in the upcoming season.

Have the roids made him slow?

no, really, are you serious ?

Isn't this an effect of steroids? You just think it is bulk?

I was surprised last year. Cedi was mostly going 100% the time he was in in 17-18. Then last year, he didn't appear to have that stamina. He got winded. Maybe it was just the increase in minutes, but I was shocked because he sort of hit the rookie wall when Collin absolutely just got better and better and did not appear to get exhausted by years end.

Dunno what the reason is, but he shouldn't have bulked...maybe it's steroids, who knows. He hsould have just gotten stronger - It's a big difference. I think growth hormones would have sufficied. He went from going 200% every game to playing on energy restriction Lebron mode.
