The Mandalorian

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I’m curious if they casted her with plans of her growing into the role? This is not a ten year old

That's fucking horrible. It's basically the fake-chasing you do with little kids when you are trying not to catch them.

It's a mediocre sequence, for sure.

Thankfully, they nailed both the child actor and dialogue (at least that's how the first episode felt). IMO of course.

Episode 3

Vader's lasting image, to an extent, is "guy went soft and turned his back on the emperor to protect his son". So I think it's pretty great to see his ruthlessness & evilness on full display in this episode. Total bad hombre

Vader is fucking terrifying. I've always wanted a show of him hunting Jedi. Dude is just casually strolling through the streets brutally murdering people.

In the same way all the Jedi can’t help but try and help people, dark siders/sith can’t help but stab each other in the back.

I was so turned off by Boba Fetts first few episodes that I lost all of my excitement for this series.

After catching up on the remainder of Boba and the three Obi episodes this week, I can say I’m totally nerding out.

Episode 3 was EVERYTHING.

We see why the Sith Rule of Two is so important.

More than one apprentice is a problem. Or even acolytes.

We saw the in-fighting between Ventress and Grievous trying to win Dooku's favor during the Clone Wars, and now the Inquisitors. To impress Vader.

It is even more pronounced in the Clone Wars Legends books where Dooku had 4-6 former Jedi and Dark Side users employed (Ventress, Oppress, Sora Bolq, Quinlan Vos, Komari Vosa, Severance Tann, not counting Grievous or Jango Fett) for various tasks. They spent most of the time trying to kill each other rather than fighting Jedi.

So did Reva just teleport to the end of the tunnel? And are we really breaking the canon of Rebels?

I guess I’m alone here but I think this show has been bad and we’re already halfway through this.

They won't break canon.

Pau'an have two stomachs!

Loving this show much more so than the Boba series (which was fine, but mostly because of the awesome Mando episodes).

The retcons don’t bother me because Star Wars is basically just one big retcon at this point.

She seems awfully small for a 10 year old. I have a 9 year old niece that is much bigger than her. Leia is closer in size and running talent to my 7 year old niece.
I just typed that there's no way that actress is 10 and would be 7years old tops. But alas, she is 10. My daughter is 10 and looks way older than this actress.

I think people are forgetting that little Leia has the force running through her veins. She doesn't need a guidance system to get through the damn trees!

I was really confused about how Reva got to the end of the tunnel.

I think she saw the direction it was going in and figured it went to the port?

I'm probably giving the writers too much credit.

The writing and directing has been so bad in this series. It’s far and away the weakest part. I think the actors are fine.

Obiwan show kinda meh. Vader is cool, but I imagine it's pretty hard to mess up Vader. I just don't understand Reva's character and have been underwhelmed.
