The Mandalorian

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Had dinner with Michael Porter Jr a couple weeks ago and he confirmed it is indeed Boba Fett. Dropfoot improving.

This takes place after ROTJ, so, isn't Boba Fett dead?

Turns out I was actually having dinner with John Mulaney who was posing as Michael Porter Jr and he doesnt know anything about the Mandalorian. Totally possible.

Fans and the EU have long maintained he survived.

Its not Fett.

Today’s episode was pretty good. Very interesting ending there.

The empires supreme interest in this child leads me to believe it is Yodas offspring in some form or fashion. Which would be kind of an annoyance imo considering the strict Jedi rules when the order was in place in the clone wars era.

Yoda didn’t depict me as the sort of guy who would be doing that type of shit either.

Huh, never heard that before.

What's the theory/explanation?
Fans LOVE Boba Fett. He legit might be the most popular character outside of Luke (and maybe Yoda and Chewie). Like, he has a cult following that includes everyone.

The old EU was a bit of a cluster in terms of continuity. Authors kinds got to pick and choose what characters to bring back. Since there was such fan interest in him, they brought him back.

I believe the official explanation was basically he climbed out because he's bad ass. Pretty much the same thing happened to Maul.

Yeah, I knew that. Hell, I always loved the Fett's as well.

Is the Rise of Skywalker thread filled with spoilers already? I am guessing I have to avoid that thread till I see the movie.

The last episode of the Mandalorian was great. I have been enjoying the show, but I was excited they finally continued the main storyline rather than the previous episodes which were mostly "side quest mission that has resolution by episode's end"

Yes! We need more plotline episodes.

Having "monster of the week" episodes is OK...but we need more plotline episodes to go along with it. X-Files did a good job of this.

Hopefully, moving forward, we get more plotline episodes.
