The Mandalorian

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I have mixed feelings on Boba Fett seemingly being back. The show is so unique and refreshing that he really isn't needed and my eyes might roll out of my skull if we find out he's Mando's dad or has some sort of relationship to Mando. I'll give the show writers the benefit of the doubt to make it good but the Easter Eggs in each episode, which are fantastic, is enough for me in tying this show to the movies.

Mando is a foundling so it'd make no sense for Boba Fett to be his dad. He literally knew his parents before they were killed and he was taken in by Mandalorians.

New episode was really good. Major plot development..
It's amazing how good of a character Ashoka has become given how horribly she was written in the Clone Wars movie.

Will be sad if Baby Yoda doesn't go dark side. Eats a bunch of a frog lady's last set of eggs, force chokes a hot conservative woman... These are dark side moves.

This thread needs way more activity. Another incredible episode. Best thing there is on TV right now.

The fact that
Ahsoka
shows up in the first 5 seconds on the newest episode amazed me. Might as well put your cards on the table after all the suspense. This show just gets better and better with every episode.

Lots of name drops too.

People will need to do a mini-marathon of Star Wars: Rebels episodes to understand what exactly is going on with some of the character names introduced.

For the uninitiated, here is all of Thrawn's scenes from Rebels.

A very brief bio:
Grand Admiral Thrawn is one of the ranking flag officers of the Imperial Fleet, and the only non-human entrusted with such an important command by the Emperor. Thrawn is a tactical and strategic genius who is a master of conventional military doctrine. However, what sets him apart from other Imperial leaders is that he assess his enemy by their cultural traits, often by studying their art and literature. He eventually knew what the Rebels were going to do before they did it. He knows the enemy in practice with military thinkings like Sun Tzu. He is also a formidable hand-to-hand combatant, capable of defeating Jedi in a fight. He nearly destroyed the Rebel cell from Lothal, and only an Act of God (or the Force) defeated him. He is perhaps the most dangerous man in the Empire aside from the Sith.

And a primer for the newbs on Ashoka, Ezra, Vader and the World Between Worlds.

Just realized the military dude is Michael Biehn.
