First episode is fucking awesome.

Boba getting a back story is going to be so sick. Getting to see why he was the most badass bounty hunter in the galaxy despite all his buffoonery in the OT.

Needed it’s own thread. Post thoughts here.

EDIT: Just realized this is not Boba Fett at all lol.

Jesus Christ.

Did you also watch the Jeff Goldblum show?

A whole series devoted to Jeff Goldblum. What's not to like?

I only watched it just now and saw Nick Nolte in the credits. Did I miss him?

I watched it and I'm looking forward to more but I understand why they didn't release it to critics before the launch. I think it would have gotten real mixed reviews with some critics ripping it.

It didn't feel like it flowed well and the sound was oddly quiet for the first half. The lack of music and background noise was weird to me. To me it felt like I was watching a rough cut or the in-between scenes in a video game all put together. The dialogue was basically all one liners.

Visually I think it's as close you can get to really feeling like the star wars movie universe without a movie budget. I think its flaws will fixed as it goes on. The world building is there, I'm sure the storyline will grow to match it.

I really enjoyed the first episode. It's going to suck having to wait a week for each episode. But that's a good business move for them to keep people.

FWIW, the next episode comes out this Friday. Weekly from there

I hope they have the new shows lined up like Hulu does with their week by week shows. The library while it is a good library of stuff, it has barely anything I haven't seen or want to dive into. It's really focus for kids.

For me it's a lot of stuff I haven't seen in a really long time. Or wanted to see again but never did because I would have to buy it. Or stuff I should have seen but never did.

So...I assume we can discuss spoilers in here?

We think thats you-know-whos son?

I liked it.

Hard to argue with Disney Plus only being 6-7 bucks.

Not exactly a million things I want to see but the potential is all there.

I don’t think it can be.... right?

That would break the code of the Jedi order would it not?

I don't think they're necessarily related, just the same species

This was my other thought.

Well, he wouldn’t be the first one to do it.

He’s also dead now, so it’s not like he’d have to face any consequences.
