The Mandalorian

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I’ve watched the first 2 episodes of Boba Fett so far.

Not much to say. Starting a bit slow.

Yeah NGL it's been pretty meh so far.

Mandalorian started out a bit slow too before it really picked up, hopefully the same will happen with this show.

Boba Fett show got better when it just became The Mandolorian the last two episodes.

The deep fake Luke was so much better this time. They evidently had a Youtuber assist in it after he did his own version that looked better than the season finale version last time.

Agreed. The Boba Fett specific story has been really, really weak. Granted, I’m not well versed, so you’re getting a reaction from an outside fan. It’s just not interesting, despite really have the opportunity to be a heavy crime boss show.

On the subject of Deep Fake Luke...

FUUUUUCCKKK YEAH!!

Well that was interesting.

All the pieces came together!

The writing on that episode was so bad…

I don’t know how much more running out in the wide open and the bad guys just blatantly missing shots for minutes at a time I can take.

Also, hate the Boba Fett good guy act.

Seemed like the entire purpose of Boba Fett Season 1 was just to reunite Mando and Grogu.

I mean...okay.

Boba deserved better

Badass ruthless bounty hunter turned benevolent sand town mayor that was routinely getting his ass beat all series

The series was enjoyable but I think once a handful of Star Wars series have been released, I think this one will be seen as one of the weaker series. A la Falcon and the Winter Solider sticking out as the weakest MCU series

I don't think he's dead.

Duros have multiple hearts.

And in that last scene his life-support system lit up.
That makes sense. I really hope they don't do him like that because if anyone deserved the moniker of "Deadliest Bounty Hunter", it's him.

I was fine with the story, but there was definite potential to be so much more.

To be honest, I think the potential to create a gritty crime show over the spice running in Star Wars sounds amazing. Have it start Timothy Olyphant and watch that show print money.

They really blew the story. Would have been better if they actually spent 8 episodes developing Boba Fett s story instead of throwing those two Mando episodes in there. In fact, would have been better if Mando just showed up to help w Grogu, and saved the exposition for later. Fans would have ate it up anyway. It also doesn't help that the Mando actor is wooden. He was dead right, Boba is a man of few words, why the fuck his fake girlfriend was the exact same was kind of lame. He needed a 'mouth'. Really disappointed in Robert Rodriguez here, I was pumped he got this, thought it was right up his alley; hell, El Mariachi is essentially a Boba Fett! Looks cool, says little, smokes the bad guys. I know he had to battle the limitations of Boba being 70 years old. Probably should have recast Boba.

Boba was just.....it was something. I really enjoyed the Tusken lore but thought the central storyline was aimless. At first he wanted to be a good leader and by the end of the show, they end just killing off all the other crime bosses anyways.

Robert Rodriguez just can't help himself with the cheesy lines and cyberpunk kids. If the show continues, hope those kids get nerfed. There is just something about his episodes that feel cheap.

With that said, I highly enjoyed the Book of Mando episodes. I just wish Bryce Dallas Howard or Filoni would've directed the finale.
