Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Why not this:

TT & Shump to Denver for Chandler & Faried?

Works money wise. Maybe a hard sell including Shump since they currently have 5 SGs on the roster (lol) but they could obviously still make other moves.

Denver's long-term front court rotation of Jokic, Plumlee, Thompson, and Herangomez would be flat out nasty.

Chandler would provide a much needed scoring threat off the bench as well as a guy who can defend most SFs & PFs. Would be amazing for small ball lineups with LBJ and Love. Faried would be some welcomed energy off the bench and replace much of what we'd be losing in TT, though he's not as good of a defender.

Would need to add a C via vet min or a second trade, but I'd really like the options this move would give us.

I really haven't seen a scenario where adding Melo makes us better. Even our so called scraps have been important to us on both ends of the floor and our locker room. Melo will not make us better on defense and has never served the role we'd need him to.

Offensively we were fucking ludicrous this season, even against the Warriors. Our problem was that we didn't have the discipline or length to match up on defense.

Paul George is absolutely the answer to our biggest problem, but the only feasible way is dealing Love, which introduces new issues but at least keeps us in the game. Other than that we are left with finding bench improvements and prayer.

Any realistic offer we can make without giving up Love?

Love for a 1 year rental is madness.

TT, Cedi, future picks, and bringing other teams into the equation.
Our future picks are pretty much worthless. No GM is going to care about a 2021 pick unless their job security has never and will never be questioned.

I just don't see that package not easily being beaten out by the Lakers.

If we want PG13 I just can't see it not involving Love.

If we got PG13 without giving up Love it's literally over. Pencil us in for the next 3 championships

Cavs can't deal Love without assurances from George AND Lebron.

Best non-Love rental offer I can conjure up is getting Minnesota in on a deal for Thompson and Shumpert. That No. 7 pick along with Ricky Rubio's contract and rights to Cedi could be a winning bid if they're motivated to sell before the draft.

TT is Plato's ideal of a Thibs guy. Also a good frontcourt match between Towns and Wiggins. Wolves coveted Shump in the past. I imagine Thibs is interested in winning now and those two are more impactful than anything they'd get at 7. Moving Rubio clears the path for Minnesota to strike on their rumored interest in Holiday, Hill and Teague.

Pacers could do worse under these less-than-ideal conditions than end up with a mildly over-priced, mid-pack starting point guard, a strong prospect in Monk/Markkanen/Isaac and the rights to a young international wing they can keep or move for another first.

A scenario I could see play out is, IND uses us to sweat LA into giving them a bounty. LAL know very well that if he goes here that he could easily be convinced to resign by LeBron. No way they roll the dice on him walking a year a later if we're the suitors.

I could see INDY getting Clarkson, Randle, and 2 FRPs, possibly 3 if they squeeze Magic enough.

Boy if Phil is serious about cleaning the slate in NY, Cavs are one of the few teams that can get their hands on a top 5 pick AND get Melo to waive his no-trade.

I wonder if Ainge would take Anthony along with Porzingis like Cleveland might.
